What do I do if I need a three foot gap? Like over the stove or between cabinets?

Hi jenny accoring to your question : 1.you can buy a 20Awg 2-pin wire to solder yourself, attached link for you check . https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009VCZ4V8 2.For the cob led strip, the working temperature is -4℉-122℉,it's no problem for installation this over the stove or cabinet.you don't have to cut it .

Hi, this PAUTIX COB connector is 8mm wide and not suitable for 10mm COB LED strips. For more questions, please feel free to contact us at this address: pautix_service@hotmail.com.

How wide is this connector? does it have a limit on the width of the cob light strip that needs to be connected?

It is 8mm wide. Therefore, this connection terminal is only suitable for 8mm wide COB strip lights, but not for 10mm wide COB light strips and not suitable for CCT tunable COB strip light kits. If you have any other questions, please contact us via email: pautix_service@hotmail.com.

Do the strips have to touch each other on the corner connector? I can't get the strip very far in to the connector to make them touch.

hello, You need to pull both sides of the corner connector at the same time and then push up to adjust the contact position to ensure that 2 copper contacts on the led strip are fully touched. If you have other questions or need more detailed installation instructions, you can contact E-mail: pautix_service@hotmail.com to contact me, I will reply you as soon as I see it!
