I wasn't expecting these to be so small. Just 8-9cm long with little grooves that snag the stitches. They will do for now but I'll look for longer smooth ones instead.

Beautiful wooden cable needles- 3 different sizes. They match the other Symfonie knitting accessories that I have purchased - beautiful shades of wood. Not used yet, but will soon.

Although these cable needles are of excellent quality they are much shorter than other cable needles. The 3.25mm one is only 8cm long, the 4mm one 8.5cm and the 5.5mm one is the usual 10.5mm long. As I have arthritis in my hands and needed to use the smallest one I found it very difficult as I kept dropping the needle. I am sure someone more able bodied may not have such a problem. They have notches cut at regular intervals along the needles so take care that the yarn does not get caught in one of them. I am sure this is to prevent the stitches from coming off the needles which is a good idea. Nobody wants to drop a stitch! I did not see any information regarding the length of each needle and feel that this should be clearly included in the description. If they had not been so short I would have given them 5 stars.

I love the knit pro range of needles and have all the Zing rang and now gradually adding the Symfonie range.The Zing range is a fast knitting needle, this Symfonie range is slower.The needles are still smooth and lovely to work with but much better for silky threads or cottons or just for yarn more likely to slip from the needle.Excellent for beginnersThe design is attractive and the finish excellent.Good Value and Recommended

I prefer a smooth needle; these are ridged and make it hard to pull stitches into play.

I bought these as I love wooden knitting needles and the only cable needle I had was a metal one. I thought they looked like good value and were pretty. They arrived very quickly and I was amazed at the quality. They are ridged down their length which takes a bit of getting used to but once you are used to them . . . . . The ridges stop the stitches sliding off the needle so you can drop the stitches being cabled whilst you knit the others. The ridges also hold the cable needle in the fabric so you can just stick the cable needle in your knitting when you're not using it and the ridges hold it there - a real bonus if, like me, you're forever losing your cable needle :). The three sizes are good as well, the larger size will quite happily hold cable stitches up to super chunky wool. Altogether a great buy.

Die Zopfnadeln liegen sehr toll in der Hand und sind typisch für KnitPro sehr hochwertig verarbeitet.Ich persönlich komme mit geraden Zopfnadeln besser klar als mit den gebogenen, daher ist dieses Set hier ein Segen beim Stricken für mich.Allerdings empfinde ich die Riffelung in den Zopfnadeln als etwas zu tief/scharfkantig gefräst.Ich habe daher meine Zopfnadeln etwas nachbearbeitet und die Rillen mit ein wenig "green stuff" aus dem Modellbaubedarf aufgefüllt. Jetzt bleibt die Wolle nicht mehr daran hängen. Die Kanten nachträglich mit der Nagelfeile abzurunden wäre sicher auch eine gute Methode, die Übergänge bißchen weicher zu gestalten.Nichtsdestotrotz, sehr tolle Nadeln, genau das Richtige für einen passionierten Zopfmusterstricker wie mich.

Ogni volta che acquisto su Amazon resto esterrefatta. Il prodotto è arrivato il giorno successivo con amazon prime ma all'apertura del pacco mi son resa conto che non era conforme alla descrizione. Così ho telefonato al centro assistenza amazon e un ragazzo estremamente cordiale e gentile mi ha effettuaro la procedura si reso e mi ha sostituito l'oggetto. Il set di ferri è quindi arrivato conforme alla descrizione e in tempi sempre brevissimi. Amazon è una garanzia.I ferri sono esteticamente molto carini, leggeri e in tre misure. Non sono curvi come quelli in ferro o alluminio. Non ho ancora avuto l'occasione di provarli ma sono certa chei troverò bene così come mi son trovata con i ferri circolari in bamboo di knitpro.
