very good the only book out there dedicated to the art of using a wheeling machine or english wheel as the americans call it the book will guide you in the right direction on the best methods after that its practice and patience

This is a very good book dedicated to the English wheel
This is a very good book dedicated to the English wheel, which usually gets a small section in most metal shaping books. While I have seen some of the material before in other books or videos, there is definitely a new twist on it here and it's the first time I've seen all this information gathered in one place. This is very well illustrated with color photos that clearly illustrate what the author is talking about in the text. I really liked that there were several chapters that followed expert metalworkers step-by-step as they worked on part of a larger project. This shows how one might apply some of the basic techniques shown in the book to an actual project. I am patiently waiting for Amazon to get Mr. Longyard's next book in stock.

Etant débutant sur l'utilisation de la roue anglaise, j'ai acheté ce livre. Il permet vraiment de débuter et de donner toutes les connaissances de base pour faire les premières formes. Il est aussi destiné aux personnes déjà expérimentées. Attention : en anglais et il est important de bien lire et comprendre tous les textes.
