I have only a small front garden which is open to a shared driveway at 8 meters from the house where I installed the device. Even at minimum sensitivity the range was further than that. The flashing light is activated as well so passing people set it off and not just cats. The main problem is that strong sunlight (perhaps thermals from the driveway or bushes) seemed to set it off almost continually. The youngsters next door complained it was hurting their ears when they were between the houses (i.e. they were not activating it themselves) so I had to switch it off. I sent it back for a refund. I didn't have this issue with my old repellant which eventually stopped working.

The unit is still under test. I will write a proper review after the test period.

Placed item in front garden to scare magpies and cats from damaging lawn by digging holes and marking territory. Have had no issues since it was installed so it seems to be effective.

am thrilled with this no more rats on my step or near my house, plants are now safe and hanging baskets as it keeping the birds away from pecking at my baskets. Let’s hope it continues
