This product works very well, particularly on hard cheeses. It's easy to use and easy to clean.

This product is awesome. I have bought several of the flimsy cheese cutters in the past and this is the best one that I have used yet.

I was skeptical when I opened it and saw the blade: I need it for cutting cheese in our restaurant and it looked as though it would cut and get gummed up like a knife. I was wrong! This little bugger cuts through cheddar better than my old wire cutter and I don’t have to worry about replacing the wire all the time. Some people have questioned the construction quality and while the plastic board part may feel like a childs toy, the blade and cutting arm are quite substantial. Highly recommended

I really like this cheese slicer. It cuts cheese easily with little effort and in various widths.

I was looking for a cheese slicer with a blade because I was tired of wires breaking on other boards. I liked that you could adjust the slice thickness but had problems when slicing thinners slices of cheese because of the thickness of the blade. It caused the sliced cheese to curve and break apart ( I was slicing cheese from a brick about 1 1/2" thick).

Despite being the most expensive of it's kind here this unit is not good. The cutting arm is plastic (despite looking like metal), whobbles enough that it actually cut into the main board rather than the cheese. Used with dry cheese (like Feta) & with "wet" cheese (like Provolone) it's blade (instead of wire) cutter and the diagonal width of the arm breaks the cheese about 1/3 of the way into the cheese. The small gradations on the measure are for show. It won't cut in one piece anything less that 5mm width. Given the possible variations it ought to have small/med/large, forget the numbers. But above all, buy one with a wire instead of blade as this has.

Perfect! Could not find other cheese cutters with sturdy knives. This one is very heavy duty and has a measurement tool to. Make sure each piece comes out even.
