Amazing postpartum pads!
An absolute godsend for the bleeding straight after giving birth. These towels are large, cushy without being overwhelming thick like the NHS ones, or the ones you normally find in pharmacies or supermarkets around here. They are shaped to your underwear so no leaks (unlike the NHS ones!), and unlike the pads mentioned above, they actually have glue lines that stick then to your underwear for added safety against movement (especially when you are constantly hauling yourself up and down the bed to attend to your newborn). They are very VERY absorbent. In fact, one of the reasons why I got them was in case my waters broke before I actually got into labour, leaving me to keep loosing waters for half a day before I was even admitted to the delivery room. This didn't happen this time, but they would have done the job wonderfully! They are fantastic, but don't stockpile on them, as unless you normally have large bleeds you won't use all of them. I've used one single pack and actually have a few left as after the first few days my bleeding was much reduced and, although comfortable, these are quite large and as soon as I could I transitioned to regular and more handy towels.

A Godsend for Heavy Periods
There's nothing worse than being confident using one brand of sanitary towel only for the manufacturer to change it so it no longer suits you. I was advised to try these and I am so glad that I did! When you initially get them you think they might be too long and perhaps uncomfortable but no, they feel so comfortable even though they are more padded than most. They are very well made with just the right shaping so that they don't concertina in at the sides or roll up at either end, been when worn at night (the problem I have had with others). They are very soft to wear and they are not scented so are kind to sensitive skin. Very well made, incredibly comfortable despite their size and I felt very confident wearing them - so much so that I have come back to buy some more! I highly recommend them.

Perfect for straight after birth
I used straight after birth, there long and thick great absorbency nice and soft just wants needed straight after birth, bit thick so can be seen from outside but in honesty I didn't care as I just had baby, did feel safe in these and used for first 5 days all the time then just at night mostly as felt safe to use.

Almost perfect!
These were great for use immediately after childbirth. The size of the pads is super large but this is what makes it perfect for the heavy blood flow immediately post birth. I’ve knocked off one star as they don’t have wings which meant that I had some very minor leakages at the side of the pads which ended up causing some blood to get onto my pants. This was ok given that I was wearing disposables but if they had wings they literally would be perfect. Other than that that the absorption, size and comfort were all fabulous and I would definitely recommend post birth. I used these then switched to lil let’s maternity pads with wings as bleeding was getting lighter. One pack was more than enough for me before switching.

3rd day out of hospital & 2 weeks & later updates
I don't know, ladies, why people are complaining about these. 3 days out of hospital, still needing proper cover for the region in discussion, these are the ones I started using as soon as I could get off the bed and reach my hospital bag (well, suitcase), despite the hospital providing some other ones which were narrower and leaked all over the bed, clothes, body. To use simple language and speak the reality, maternity pads, you want them BIG. These are big. You want them SOFT (although, let's admit it, nothing will really be for a week or two), these are soft, as soft as any of them get. You want them DISPOSABLE. These are; 2nd, 3rd, and, especially, 1st time around you don't want to spend those 5 precious minutes and last of your iron and energy washing something so messy. Yes, they don't have wings and manage to leak a tiny bit, but remember the days when we had to use pads every month, those were never perfect, were they? And, as with all 'intrusive' objects, there will be a bit of soreness to the nearby area, but all pads cause that, and it's not the pad but the experience, so just remember, it all goes, and it takes time, and YOU WILL BE GOOD AS NEW, although it definitely does not seem so at this time. Just breathe, relax, feed the baby, change their nappies, have warm relaxing showers, a bit of favourite sweets, some lovely tea, give other participating parties a hug and remember how you felt on your very best day: that will soon happen again. You will get there. 2 weeks later, these are still steady favourites after a week with winged Cottons and the ones from the local store. Cannot fault them in any way, should have bought 10 packs in the first place. And now, nearly 3 months later, and looking back, these were still the best ones. They do have rivals, Boots have very similar pads but theirs are slightly bigger, with a smaller, interrupted 'stick-on' area; however Boots sell theirs 50p cheaper, which might make a difference if you need them for 2 months like myself. Yes, and you are not using them to soak them up. Dispose of these regularly, better buy more and change them more often than end up on antibiotics.

Love Them & Would a 100% Use Them Again
Okay so after the birth of my first daughter back in July 2018 I thought that this time around for my second daughter who I had this June it would be good to find some decent pads this time. You see with my first my waters had broke before I started to contact or go through labor. So I went 24 hours continuously leaking before going in to be induced and then there was after the birth with quite a bit of bleeding for about 3 days that the pads that I was using back in 2018 just weren't cutting it back then. When I looked at the reviews for these pads I decided to get them, after looking at how many were in the pack and thinking about when I had my oldest daughter I decided to get 7 packs just in case. Well I wore a couple of the pads at night when my due date was getting closer in case my waters broke and during the day, I found the pads were nice and big as others had said in there reviews and comfortable. When I did start with my second the pads proved there worth, even though my waters didn't break until just before giving birth my plug had been coming away and bleeding didn't leak through at all and I still felt dry. They still proved to be up to the job after i gave birth as i bled quite a bit after and up to a week this time around with the flow not lightning up until the last few days of that week and continueing to lighten a few days after that week. The only down side that I found was that they could be even better if they were individually wrapped in plastic so that you could put a few loose in your bag. But I can say without a doubt that I'll use these again the next and recommended them aswell.

Perfect for Cysters who suffer with Menorrhagia(Heavy Periods)
Let's be brutally honest, I have been using maternity pads for years ever since my mother a nurse, recommended maternity pads for menorrhagia(Heavy Periods). The brand I use to buy stopped making them and I tried using Tescos own brand maternity pads and they just didn't work out. Periods suck, they can get kinda messy especially for those who have menorrhagia from endometriosis or Pcos but these pads really are the best! They are soft, wide and long! I've already got over the embarrassment of it feeling possibly like a diaper, I would much rather wear these then have to worry about soaking through anything. These pads are perfect for menorrhagia and maternity use BUT I would not suggest these for those who have heavy incontinence.

Not comfy
Great absorbancy in first week or so. But I just couldn't get them into the right position for comfort, they'd often deviate despite me using the sticky aspects to position. I wouldn't recommend sadly ! If I had my time again I'd probably just suck it up and buy the disposable pants with pads in, much comfier and only really need them for a week so who cares !

Excelente producto!
Muy buen producto. Compre un paquete para después del parto utilice pocos pero todos absorbieron muy bien y me sentí segura con ellos en todo momento. Lo recomiendo mucho para los primeros sangrados después del parto. Con un paquete que compren es suficiente.
