Unusable
I have been a customer of the Broken Token for a few years now, and have even built this insert before. However, the most recent copy of it which I attempted to build had significant problems. Many of the tabs which needed to be inserted into slots in the boards were too thick, causing them to not slot properly. Attempting to push or tap them in causes them to cave in on themselves. Doing that too much can make them unusable. Now, I have had this happen before, but usually only once or twice. With this build, every single tab that needed wasn't on the edge of a board struggled to insert. About halfway through it had happened enough times that I just gave up on the whole insert. I am now much more hesitant to buy from the Broken Token.

Holds all the expansions but makes the box bigger
The game itself is not up for review here, but I feel that you shouldn't purchase this unless you own/intend to purchase all of the expansion (at the time of review, there are 4 small expansions and a stand-alone game: war eternal, this box fits all 5 expansions and more!) The quality of the materials was great. I found one portion of the wood that had been "repaired" and it was still very strong. The laser cuts fit very tightly together and probably didn't need glue, but I did glue it just to be safe. The only downside is the height of the box with the insert. The company that made this insert provides a rubber band that will hold the box shut, but it does add significantly to the height and could make it fit oddly on your shelf. Even though the rubber band holds the box well, I still wouldn't trust it stored sideways because of how the tokens sit they could easily fall out and get jumbled together (and ruin the point of having an insert!)If future expansions contain more enemies or heroes (nemesis or mages) then their character mats will probably not fit in this box. However the only planned expansion at the time of this review is Buried Secrets which does not contain new heroes or monsters. If you own or plan on owning all of the expansions for this game, this is definitely worth your money.

The least perfect Broken Token organizer - but still good.
So I'm usually a pretty big fan of these products. Yes, it's a little bit expensive for what amounts to a couple sheets of brittle wood, but it makes the game so much easier to set up and tear down that it's practically a must-have have for the game. I did have a thin piece in half while working, but once assembled it didn't matter. I'd like to note that I've NEVER had that happen with a Broken Token product before.Ultimately I have only one real critique of this organizer - it needed a few more dividers for even the base game. Right now I have several decks together that would be better organized if they were split up, so do yourself a favor and just order a few extra dividers when you buy this one.

Very nice!
It goes together very easily, although I did end up using glue (and some clamps to hold stuff while it was drying), as I really like a sturdy product. It is sturdy and provides great oganization for all of the cards and parts. If you only have the base game, it's probably a bit of overkill as there's lots of room in there! (Fortunately, I have a number of expansions on order.)It's really well engineered; I didn't try, but it seems like the parts can only go one way.During assembly, it's great if you have the room to lay out all 7 sheets in front of you so you can easily find the parts, although the assembly instructions do provide a very nice layout of each sheet. It does lift up the game box about an inch, but that's really no big deal.

Great product for a great game
There are very few games that I feel this type of thing really adds value, but Aeon's End is definitely one of them. I was able to fit the 2 main boxes and 4 expansions in one box, which is awesome. And I honestly geeked out a bit putting this together. That part was fun for me too. If you are big gamer and like Aeon's End, I would recommend getting this broken token item as well. It's worth the investment for shelf space alone. Add that to the fun of assembly and it's a win all around.I would recommend using a sand hammer like they use for doing floating floors, it worked great for me.

Alright but not great, it needs a rework
So go ahead and watch the product video on TheBrokenToken.com and watch until the end and you'll see what the product looks like full. It ends up being mostly empty while not giving you enough dividers. It's my least favorite organizer I have received from The Broken Token.

A bit of woodcrafting required
You will need a hammer/mallet, and a sturdy table or woodcrafting bench. For perfectionism, you will also want a hobby knife, multiple varieties of sandpaper, paint, and wood finish.I was able to put it together with just a hammer and a table. This is a box insert that replaces the insides of an Aeon's End box. It is taller than a standard Aeon's End box, so it comes with rubber bands to hold the lid of the box whilst closed.I only have the main Aeon's End box, so cannot comment on whether or not this fits 100% of the content released thus far.

Perfect.
Easy to assemble. Took me about 15 minutes and a little wood glue but it was worth it. It fits in the box nicely and holds everything neatly. It keeps everything organized and helps set up and clean up to go much smoother. Highly recommend this.
