Is ideal with a wide contact surface area which stops our kitchen door hitting the edge of the work surface. My husband fitted it in minutes even though no instructions were included in the box. Well made and looks good. The fixings are very sturdy. I only used the screws provided as fixing to a chipboard subfloor and a skirting board. The screws are stainless steel and didint round off like so many cheap screws often provided with some products. The rubber has a soft bounce so no hard stop when a door makes contact. I have used two in both the upright and horizontal postion. Upright was used in the bathroom where the door is often caught by the wind and horizontal in the hall where my large german shepard dog barges the door open so in both instances they work extremely well. Very pleased and would buy again.

Great doorstops if you are looking for a horizontal depth that isn’t too far away from the wall. But they do look quite chunky. Which might help people see and not step on them. Easy to install.

I brought this door stop to protect a new piece of furniture from being hit by the door handle, it is extremely sturdy and could be used for heavy doors.

the backplate attachment is small with small screws that aren't long enough or thick enough to stand any measurable impact.They are fine for an internal skirting board stop, but I definitely wouldn't recommend them for a heavy door.
