The whole kit comes in quite a small box however it is well labelled and has an internet link with all the relevant instructions. I was expecting the tree to have some form of illumination which was disappointing when I realised it did not and for my project I didn't have time to do this myself. I also used my own power source and extended some of the wires to work on my model however every connector worked fine. I have seen reviews about the connectors and I would advise that these are naturally small so tweasers or similar would be expected at this scale.The lego fittings for the light elements are made from a compatible brick but I had no issue with this. They have tried to use fine wires with the intention that no drilling/filing would be needed however Lego bricks have tight tolerances and this approach did result in 'cracks' in the buildings, which then comes down to personal preference of whether this should be resolved.Overall it was interesting to see the light elements they used and I thought it was OK value for the design they had put into it.

This kit seems comprehensive - certainly the insanely long instructions make me think it is! It looks well specified abd I look forward to using it with the Christmas lego for the twins' first real Christmas!

A good set for the crimbo high street display.A wonderful addition to improving my LEGO city display!Lights up sections that you'd expect and want, and doesn't look like lights are random.Really does bring the build to life and completes it.Following the instructions online using the website given, it was fairly easy to follow.Recommended.
