TF Gear Airlite Free Spool Reel Size 40 Ex Demo

Great reel. Very quiet when fish is taking line, smoothest reel I have ever used. Fantastic quality for price.

I bought these to go with a pair of avon type rods. I usually fish small commercial water that contain carp to 12lb and a mix of silver fish so I didn't want a large reel so these fitted the bill. Both reels are quiet and smooth running and the free spool is very light. The clutch is sensitive and the back wind stop is very positive. A good small reelHaving used it 3 times with Sylcast line the line twists into a corkscrew which makes fishing difficult. I am assuming this is the line as I have had problems with knots that I have used for years suddenly slipping and shot and line stop just sliding up and down

Yet another quality purchase from TF Gear . However I am returning them to swap for the 50’s as I think the 40’s will be a bit small for what we want . Excellently built , feel solid , very responsive drag system . Well worth the money

Do like these reels they are a great workhorse well made smooth as silk and cope with decent size fish no problems.
