Ever After High Secret Hearts Diary

Very expensive for a bit of plastic. Ive given this 5 stars as it was a present and the recipient loved it greatly. Personally I thought it cheap and tacky not worth the amount of money. Packaging and delivery very good.

It was a much wanted gift but it's awkward for small hands to hold it while inserting and slightly turning the key, it was dropped and we were lucky it didn't break as it's such a rigid plastic. It also took several attempts before it would accept her saying the passwords for each side (to the point where we all cheered when it finally worked). Then after about 30 mins, the sides switched. This relates to there being a Royal and a Rebel side of the diary. The key is inserted and has to be turned left or right (colour coded), depending on which side you want opened. Somehow the sides switched, not too much off a problem for an 8 year old but for a younger child, after explaining which colour was each, trying to then explain it's now the opposite can be difficult. (Resetting didn't help) She adores it but I was disappointed in it. The 'diaries' in each side consist of two flimsy books with only a few pages. The pen is a normal felt tip with a plastic feather topper that has to be taken off each time you store it. But it's the latest must have item for little girls, so we will all continue to buy them!

Bought to put away for a Christmas present for Grand Daughter who wanted it xmas just gone (2014) but at £30 in shops there is no way I was paying that, so really very pleased when I got the opportunity to buy it at half the price. Looks nice and sturdy in box, so I am sure she will be very pleased with it this Christmas.

My daughter loves this however its quite difficult to get the voice activated words to work properly. She ended up having to use the same word for both sides of the diary which sort of defeats the object. She did want to throw it out of the window at one point but we persevered and got it working.

Less to this diary than I expected but my 7 year old daughter loves it. Main attraction is the password which is very sensitive. She has got around this by tapping a password instead of speaking one.

Came one day early and looks even better than in pics. Haven't opened it yet because it is a present for my Goddaughter. But seems very nice and good quality with fast delivery. Thank you!

Bought this for my 10 year old granddaughter. She loved it. Little bit pricey for a diary, but as it is a themed product you come to expect to pay that bit more!!! Very quick delivery, and would recommend as I have a very happy child!!!!
