An excellent dash-cam at a very reasonable price
I wanted to use this camera as a rear-facing camera mounted on the back window of our Audi Avant (estate body). Initially, the camera and its mount kept falling off due to the presence of the heating ‘wires’ not giving a smooth flat surface. This was overcome by sticking a small square of Perspex onto the window with double sided clear tape, which stood it off from the window, and that has completely fixed the problem ! We have now done some 1600 miles in France and the camera has remained firmly in place. . . the quality of the rear view pictures has been excellent and the camera and its mount do not intrude on vision to the rear at all. I also found that this camera with its default screen clearly visible showing the speed in kph was a good reminder of my speed when driving in France !!All in all, I am delighted with this camera and its controls and would only suggest that a bigger card even than 32Gb might be useful for a long day on the road - although in emergency the video would be clearly and automatically saved, so overwriting would not be a problem.

Speed camera alerts plus all usual dascam features.
Excellent quality, simple to set up and operate. The speed camera warnings are great and free updates are easy to do.

Cannot use straight away
Unable to get out of a loop: "Please format SD card" - Format - "Formatting" - "Please format SD card" etc. No indication if the formatting is successful/unsuccessful. Mio website suggests formatting on PC but what if you have no card reader? Amazon show that this is frequently bought along with a SanDisk Ultra SD card but Mio's website itself states that they do not support Sandisk Ultra, Plus or HighSpeed cards. Mio also cannot cope with emails sent from a Mac. Other purchasers have found problems with Mio dash cams corrupting otherwise good SD cards. All pretty poor and certainly not a case of unboxing the thing, installing it in the car and driving off. I've spent hours trying to sort this out and only purchased it as I was pleased with my old Mio MiVue 518, although this kept coming up with SD card error messages and necessitated turning the thing on/off until I eventually decided to buy a new but similar dash cam. Lastly, Mio decided to continue using the same connection but remodelled the fitting so that I had to reroute my power lead through the car's A-frame again to give me that extra bit of cable that was needed.

Works well, and GPS Speed indicator is an added bonus
Very good device to work, doesn't hang up or anything, and the speedometer function is very useful

Great WebCam, pity about MiVue viewing software with Windows 10
This webcam is great. Fantastic build quality (as I expect, having used other Mitac products), super easy to install, great video quality, and good satellite acquisition. However, the recommended viewing software "Mio MiVue" doesn't display video (it's running, as is the audio, and GPS data, just video window blacked out), when running under Windows 10, despite having installed the reccomended additional codec pack - I'm not alone with this problem, and Mitac doesn't seem to have a solution. Apparently works OK with previous Windows versions.I purchased a third-party dashcam viewer, which works excellently

Good dashcam...except for image quality
Unless vehicles are close and almost stationary it is not possible to view licence plates or detailed signage for example. There are too many artefacts resulting from factors such as lens quality and video compression. Otherwise the C330 is just about perfect and good value for a well featured decent quality dashcam including GPS. The device is conveniently small and the Mio MiVue software is perfectly adequate.I contacted Mio Support and their reply was refreshingly honest, “The footage you are describing does sound normal for the C330. It is something that was improved upon with our MiVue 7 series devices with better lenses. Unfortunately it is not possible to tone down the video compression, this is a standard internal setting on the devices which cannot be changed”.Overall image quality is OK in all light conditions but if detail such as recording licence plates in case of a problem is important then the MiVue 7 series might be a better option although I have not tried the 7 series. Otherwise the C330 is a good dashcam.

Great value.
I have fitted these in both mine and my spouses cars. I love the speed camera warning and more accurate speed notifications.

Ottimo prodotto piccolo facile GPS fantastico
Prodotto consigliato.

Good camera
Pros: Good video quality in daylight, sturdy mounting. Cons: Not so good in dark. Display unclear if watching even a little from side
