I like this - I can see it being a very useful diffuser in buildings with high ceilings.The lids don't fit perfectly, but it fits my 580EX flashgun very well and performs well too.The price seems very good compared to other diffusers and it arrived promptly.

I've used this for one shoot so far and I'm pleased with the amount of diffusion of flash I got from it, which is the main point of this.Main bone of contention is the elasticated strap that secures the diffuser to your flashgun. It is too long. I have a Nikon SB600, which isn't particularly small, yet I almost run out of velcro in making it tight enough not to slip off. Make this strap shorter, and/or lengthen the velcro strips and you're on to a winner here.

Had my first chance to try these out yesterday while doing a portrait shoot for a friend thought I have a dabble while everything was set up and was very pleased with the results they diffuse the light really nicely giving no harsh shadow, subject was evenly lit and looked very natural. Did a few shots on camera and a few on a stand to the side then with 2 lights - one on either side all coming back with good results. In my opinion these diffusers are fantastic for the money , well made and doing the job they were bought for extremely well. Now for the negative and one possible solution the can be knocked off the speed light quite easily because of the hard plastic the speed light is made of offers no purchase so I have slipped latex bands around the light head (charity wristbands) and the diffuser is fitted over these and the Velcro strap is tightened provides a massive amount of grip and securing it in place.

I use this primarily for fill light, not much else, that said it works well as a soft light source too.I previously owned the original expensive Fong and really you can't tell the difference photo wise.The only real difference is The fong is collapsible, this is rigid, which means it takes a little more room in your kit bag but works exactly the same.I put 2 little balls of blutac or your chosen sticky stuff on the top and bottom, at a recent public event so many people knocked in to it, so the blutac stopped it being knocked off the flash.

For some reason, this is always oily. the material is oily.

This is a good product BUT I’m guessing that when it’s manufactured, the plastic used is extremely oily so your hands get very greasy when adding it to your flash which means it transfers on to your camera.

This unit really does help distribute a flash gun over a good distance in locations with really high or dark ceilings.It’s quite large, comparatively, but it fits nicely on my Canon flash gun, and the velcro does hold it on securely, although it liable to slip down.

Cercavo qualcosa che mi permettesse di migliorare l’effetto del flash in interni che se mal gestito restituisce foto decisamente innaturali. Già il puntare il flash a 45 o 90 gradi, facendo rimbalzare la luce sulle pareti, aiuta un po’ ma con la luce che viene essenzialmente dall’alto restano ombre poco naturali.Ho scelto questo prodotto soprattutto per le recensioni positive e devo dire che ne sono rimasto soddisfatto.Per prima cosa vorrei dire che si tratta di un oggetto regolabile e adatto alla maggior parte dei flash. È infatti in gomma morbida e l’apertura è ampia. Si serra sul flash mediante cinghietta elastica con velcro. Anche se è di dimensioni abbondanti tiene bene sul flash e non tende a cadere o spostarsi.Io l’ho montato su un Metz 48AF1 e di spazio ne resta anche per un modello di dimensioni maggiori.Sono include nella confezione due coperture a cupola, una di colore bianco e una di colore arancione per dare una tonalità più calda alla luce.Quella bianca è ottima mentre quella arancione è decisamente troppo colorata e dal mio punto di vista inutile. D'altronde è possibile dare un po’ di calore alla luce in post produzione.Va un po’ imparato ad usare, come tutti i dispositivi fotografici, ma alla fine i risultati sono ottimi. Io lo uso a 45 gradi e la luce viene diffusa adeguatamente, con ombre leggere e naturali. L’ho provato solo in casa, con un 24 105 su full frame e non ho notato alcun problema nemmeno alle focali più corte. Non ho un grandangolo per verificare a focali inferiori ma direi che non dovrebbe essere u problema.L’ho usato per le foto in casa dei bimbi e devo dire che la differenza rispetto a quando non lo usavo si vedono. Appena possibile lo proverò anche all’aperto, come fill flash, per vedere come si comporta.L’unico appunto che mi sento di fare è che è davvero di grandi dimensioni ed occupa parecchio spazio nella borsa, più di un obbiettivo anche importante, e può quindi essere scomodo da portare in giro.Chi ha problemi di spazio dovrebbe secondo me pensare a un prodotto diverso, di quelli pieghevoli. Ne comprerò uno più compatto anche io, per quando voglio viaggiare leggero e con poco ingombro e terrò questo per le occasioni in cui l’ingombro non è un problema.In conclusione un prodotto sicuramente consigliato.

Agréablement surpris du résultat des prises de vue avec ce diffuseur.Je l'ai monté sur un vieux SB24 Nikon et ça va très bien.Deux dômes sont livrés: un blanc pour une lumière douce et un orange bien utile dans certaines conditions .Aussi efficace en direct que dirigé vers le haut.Le prix est vraiment attractif !

Neulich auf einer Hochzeit habe ich diesen Diffusor gesehen bei einem Gast. Allerdings hatte er die teurere Variante, die... ich meine 3-4x so viel kostet. Ich habe mir nur gedacht, diese hier tut es auch. Und - ich wurde nicht enttäuscht!! Der Diffusor macht ebenso dermaßen Spaß, es gelingen endlich tolle Blitzbilder, die vorher nicht gelungen sind. Auch bei großen Räumen oder draußen mit dem gelben Aufsatz, einfach herrlich... Blitzen finde ich als Hobbyfotograf eh eine Königsdisziplin, und so oder so muss man viel üben. Jetzt gelingen einfach tatsächlich 50% mehr Bilder! Kann ich also nur weiter empfehlen.

Es justo el producto que necesitaba, encaja a la perfección a mi flash neewer y logro con el una luz mas difuminada y no tan directa e intensa, ideal para retratos. Recomiendo sin duda su compra.
