well this is a review of an item i wasn't expecting to review but im going tooBrilliant Bloody Brilliant , been on the spanners for a life time i always broke watches due to no movement in the wrist when i am pulling or pushing like on spanners this caused the strap tightness to increase and mostly over time would break watch pins.No more with this bad boy it has a Velcro infinitely adjustable strap and the part holding the bezel to the strap is elasticated that you can see expanding and contracting when you tighten loosen your wrist sorted.Another reason i didn't think id like this is i am not a big fan of the indiglo system. this does however have both luminous slightly and indiglo which both work great ,given im an old timer with failing close range vision.All in all im happy with this purchase it ticks all the boxes at a price that wont break the bank .Being 50 water resistant and stylish to boot are just a couple more reasons to try it out .Cheers Garry

Timex are making some great-looking watches. I fancied getting a light resin black case, black dial with an orange seconds hand and this one is lovely jubbly as the 40mm case size is perfect for a 7" wrist. If you have a bigger wrist, you may find the strap a little tight, but it's elasticated for some give. The tick is noticeable, but it makes it sound like a mechanical movement rather than a Quartz. A bonus was not made in China but the Philippines.Fact: Linda Hamilton aka Sarah Connor wore a Timex military watch in Terminator 2, and she is a badass chick and my longtime crush.

This watch has served me well for almost a year.I needed an outdoor watch that was light, resistant to knocks, drops and water and kept good time. I also needed to read the time without glasses. This watch fits the bill.I've worn it in the rain and in the bath; I've dropped it and knocked it over, but it's still serving.It has also passed my eyesight test. The numbers are large enough to read without my glasses. The light-coloured numbers and hands contrast with a dark background, making it easier to read the time.I dislodged the strap pins when the watch caught on my backpack while I was taking it off. I now avoid this problem by not wearing the watch with the strap loose.The watch comes with a Velcro-fastened strap. After less than a year of use, I misplaced the watch because the Velcro weakened and the watch started falling off without warning. I have replaced the strap.Overall, this is a reliable, low-cost, no-fuss watch.

Ive had one these before they are durable and very comfortable with a very good backlight great for the price. Recommended.

Great watch for the price. Keeps good time, very clear, uncluttered face which makes it super easy to read at a glance. Tough enough and waterproof enough that you don't have to be precious taking care of it and cheap enough that if you do manage to damage or break it, its not the end of the world.The indiglo feature also makes it super easy to read in the dark.My only complaint is the tick is stupidly loud, as in "able to hear it from the other side of the room" loud. This is something Ive heard a bunch of other people complain about, but I know someone with the same watch and his is virtually silent, so it looks like its the luck of the draw.A minor flaw in an otherwise excellent little watch

This is a very handsome watch for my man! It has held up to even hot sweaty days in the garden! It’s scratch-resistant is great! No scratches and it’s worn every day! It’s easy to see the time. It still has correct time and in December it will be a year!
