Scaled down ESP8266 but with all the features. Good quality and lots of sketches/progs available. Really good manufacturers support site.

Perfect for use with Blynk
Amazing piece of kit, one of the best purchases I've made to date. Check out an app called Blynk, it lets you control the Huzzah from anywhere in the world!

Great for development and hand-held 'things' - not the best for unattended battery-powered solutions
A great little board allowing easy access to the capabilities of the ESP8266 and the ESP-12F module. The board has all the extras to connect up for development and then make battery-powered devices and to charge your LiPo battery from the USB.I've knocked off one star as I think Adafruit have missed trick. You can put the ESP8266 into deep sleep which should drop the power consumption down below 10uA. However, you can't turn off or disconnect the extra bits on the board when you don't need them. The means the board isn't so good for unattended remote data logging. With a 1200mA LiPo I could get a couple of weeks logging - with a 'bare' ESP-12F implementation I can now get several months with the same battery.

Never using arduino again
Great product, the ESP8266 was perfect for my project, would recommend buying the headers pre soldered for most, I would also buy a knock off pack of these boards for cheaper.
