3D Printer Blue Tape - 50mm wide - 50m - Reprap bed tape, painters masking

I bought this tape for 3d Printing because the listing says “3D Printing Blue Tape”. Id been having serious adhesion problems on my print bed and regular masking tape wasn’t cutting it.Bit pricey I thought, but its either try this or never print again.So I bought it, and tried it and it helped a little. But not enough. Large prints were failing at the end because the print moved a fraction and that’s slightly soul destroying after 10 hours of printing.Before I decided to 3d print a hammer and just put my whole 3d printing operation down for good, it thought I’d combine it with some good old-fashioned glue stick and it absolutely nailed it.So this is stuff adds some extra adhesion to the bed, but it wasn’t enough for me – when I then added glue to the top of it though, it is the best printing surface I’ve had.Would definitely recommend however nearly a tenner is a bit expensive for a roll of tape.

Well it looks like ordinary masking tape... but it isn't. I was all prepared to hate this product and criticise it for being an expensive attempt to sell normal, every day masking tape as something special. But I was wrong. Yes it's not cheap, but the filament sticks to it like glue. Actually, it sticks better than glue. I've tried using a glue stick (who hasn't). I've tried various masking tapes. In all cases the filament followed the nozzle like a loyal dog. But with this stuff - it stays where it's supposed to. So it's a little pricey, but you'll love it.

I used this on top of my heather for the Anet A8 and never had an issue applying it or having prints stick to it.

Very happy with the quality. I tried SotchBlue but this way better.
