- 9.5in Magnetic LCD Writing Tablet, Digital Notepad

This is the first time I didn't want to write a review because I wanted to make sure I had a bundle for myself before yal buy them up. The single sided 9.5 is the best temp writing tablet I've owned. The only improvement it needs is a clip vs magnet for the pen..it sticks just well enough but not secure enough..carry pen separately or you will loose it. It doesn't leave fingerprints just like it says, iv spilt soda on it and wiped with water, still works. The pad just feels freaking nice, and the extended writing area makes it awesome as well. It feels and looks very professional and not childlike or cheap. Puts 'B" board to shame.. yet B Board has a clip for pen! And others..! It has very thin writing, it doesn't glow green, but you can see it, I'd say it's as dim as lead but green...you need a light source to read what you write like paper but digital. It also comes with a spare battery! CR2016 3v That's all I have to say about that..."F. Gump"

I have had this for 2-3 months. I use this often to make daily todo lists. It is a very useful item for me. I ended up using it more than I thought I would. The green is not very bright, it looks brighter in my pic than in real life. It is pale green, not at all as electric as the sellers pics. The erase button is on the back, which is inconvenient. I am unsure why it would be moved to the back unless it was to make more screen room. It is magnetic which is great. You can put it on the fridge, make lists or leave notes for others. The stylus is magnetc as well and sticks to the side of the notepad. It is hard to get it off the fridge with your fingers, need something this to slide under it and pop it out. This is only a problem because the erase button is on tbe back. After 2 or 3 months some old writing is starting to linger. I have to press erase more than once, but i really dont mind that. The writing that remains is very very dim.

*** UPDATE *** I purchased a new CR2016 cell and the problem remains. The tablet has ceased to erase writing (Yes, I checked to be certain the "do not erase" switch is set to allow erasing) Changing previous 3-star rating to 1 star because it died without any sort of over- or mis-use. Gone too soon.... **** The tablet works for quickly jotting down things. I have it on the side of my fridge (built-in magnets work great for me if I hang it upside down! Orientation makes no difference in taking notes. Stylus' magnet works to keep IT stuck to the fridge, too.). Mostly it gets shopping list stuff, then cleared after I've copied to my phone. Useful for quick recipe notes, and for leaving funny messages for the family to find. Had it about 10 months, probably used it four times a month on average. The CLEAR button only dims the writing now, not clears completely. Swapped in the handy-dandy replacement battery that came with the tablet - no change in behavior. Either the spare died on the shelf while waiting to be called upon, or the tablet has gone bad. I'll invest in a new CR2016 to isolate the trouble. Hoping it is simply inferior original batteries. You (meaning I) need fairly bright ambient light to be able to see the writing. Not an issue in my kitchen during daytime, but have to crank up the lumens a bit after sunset. I think it is a fair value, but still feel unloving toward the likely cheap-o batteries they supplied.

I write a LOT of notes and lists at work, so I was going through a ridiculous number of notepads. So I thought I'd give this thing a try. Overall I'm very happy with it. It's kind of a novelty but also very useful. PROS: There is a lot of writing space. I can usually work through a whole week's worth of notes and lists before I run out of space. The stylus (or whatever you use) writes cleanly and concisely with the promised thin lines. The stylus attaches to the side via a magnet and seems to stay pretty well. You can use pretty much anything with a hard point to write, but you'll get varying degrees of line thickness. It really does resist stray marks from just touching it with your fingers. I took it home to work one day, sandwiched it between my laptop and the bag wall, and there were no extra marks on the 'screen'. It came with an extra battery. I'm definitely saving paper. It's a sturdy surface, so you don't need to put it on anything solid to write. I often take notes on it in my lap at meetings. CONS: You have to erase everything at once. So if I make a list and cross things off, I take a picture, erase, and then rewrite the things that weren't crossed off. You do need good lighting. Writing shows up great at work. At home, where the lighting is not as good, it's a bit harder to see. Keep that in mind for wherever you'll use it.

I’m disappointed with both the size and the quality. The writing has started to look like it's "melting" and is no longer sharp after just a few months of use. The erase button on the back also isn't very practical for quickly clearing the screen during fast-paced note-taking. I’ll give it to my kid to use, but it doesn’t meet the needs of a professional work environment.

Bought this for work. It's compact, doesn't take up much space, and stores easily, which I like. The only downside is the pen. It's very thin and doesn't feel very comfortable to hold. The magnet is also pretty small, so the pen can come off easily. I'd likely look into one with a thicker pen and a better holder.

I keep it in my car to jot down info on the fly.

Nice for the price. Great magnet. Hard to see. The screen is pretty dim.
