AL ANEEQ Oudh Jamal Perfume for Men | Arabic Perfume Oud for Men Eau de Parfum 100ml

I wanted something 'different'. My usual is L'EAU D'ISSEY POUR HOMME 'INTENSE' plus the occassional 20 year favourite of Dior Eau De Savage. The write up on OUDH made it clear that it would be quite strong (so use less!) and based upon OUDH which I came across many times whilst workig/living in the Arab Republic of Yemen. Yemeni's that can afford to purchase such products fit into <1% of the 15 million population. I became aware of the OUDH direction of perfume whilst setting up a new 'Cosmetics factory' as part of a new group of factory's to supply the HUGE vacuum in the market- the 'usual missing us$'s' from banks made direct imports impossible hence my Chairman & Board members (including myself as Group Production, Technical, HSE Director) determined to use the 'outside Yemen' banking to purchase equipment & raw materials. The OUDH mens perfume is absolutely,in my personal opinion' almost UNIQUE in the notes it gives out when applied. It is quite strong- good in Yemen- just use less- try it on a female starting with a single squirt around the inner wrists but NOT in a room you are going to ask 'do you like it. As I mentioned numerous times it is, like all 'smells' in the world of Cosmetics etc VERY unusual & I personally love it and its much related bottle-woody looking. It took several attempts before my wife DID like it so as a mans 'perfume/after shave' I suggest a little is better than a lot. That has nothing to do with cost as it is well priced but better NOT to have it thown in the bin because your 'better half' initially hates it. Steady the boat, little by little or dont even mention it but try it on yourself first as it can manifest with slight differences it can reap great rewards as a 'stand out/stand alone' between us 'hunky fellows' BUT IF you get a thumbs up it willalmost certainly get the same at the BBQ, pictures, days out & sitting on the beach! Good luck- this bold idea for OUDH should be welcomed and be a great success so persevere, its not a huge investment but it IS a great product- in my humble opinion of course!!

Absolutely unbelievable fragrance! You make 'friends' with the ladies, with this. Trust me on that, if nothing else. The aroma, carried everywhere, and, lingered. Compliments, glad eyes, and statements such as 'must get this for my fella,' were, frequantly heard or whispered, amongst female colleagues. Buy it!! But be careful. The results could, be life changing..

I have bought 2 bottles we both love this aftershave. I can smell it after a nights sleep in a gentle way or when he comes home from work. My husband is very fussy with aftershave he’s wore the same one for over 30 years. Usually he says a new one annoys him or makes him feel sickly. I took a risk on a cheaper one I am so glad I did. I describe it as masculine I adore Oud and I joke with him it’s delicious. Fragrance is as unique as a person, what someone loves can be another’s hate for different reasons including our skins reaction, this is a keeper for my husband

This is my initial impression as it only arrived yesterday. What I am about to say therefore is based upon a couple of applications applied in the morning and evening.Oudh is a base note constituent, which means that it should bring depth and solidity to the fragrance. There is some evidence of this at initial application, and for a very short period afterwards, but it is definitely not as distinguished, or as long lasting as I am accustomed to when purchasing other Oudh eau de parfums.I have lived in the Middle East for many years where Oud is a staple fragrance for men and women. During that time, and since returning to the UK, I have tried so many, brands ranging from the cheapest to the sublimely ridiculous. Oudh Jamal fits very much into the first category and so I have tried to take that into account in my assessment.Sadly, after about three hours of wearing, all traces of the scent had disappeared completely, which is disappointing even at this price point. You might think that I am expecting too much for £22.95, but I also use Monotheme Black and Rose Oudh from Marks and Spencer, which sells for £22, and lasts and lasts. In fact, some might find the Rose Oud a bit too powerful, but I like the punch and longevity.In summary, Oudh Jamal is a very cheap fragrance and whilst it does not compare as favourably with other Oudh parfums I have used, what you get for the money is acceptable. Like most Oudh fragrances of less than £100, it has to be a synthetic Oudh rather than real oil from the Agar tree.If you want to experience real Oud, I recommend Creed Royal Oud, Tom Ford Oud Wood or Acqua Di Parma Colonia Oud but you will pay considerably more.I will continue to use Oudh Jamal an every day fragrance but it’s not distinctive enough for the top drawer or occasion.If I change my mind in the coming days I will update my review.

I am beginning to get absolutely disappointed with this product, especially buying directly from Al Aneeq. I thought buying from Al Aneeq would guarantee authentic/genuine product "always", but this time I`m disappointed, as I`m accepting the fact that I wasted my money! Previous Oudh Jamal Fragrance Spray I bought from Al Aneeq were made in the UAE, but, the latest one I received was made in the UK!!! The Fragrances/Spices could be the same, but everyone knows that, same Fragrances smell and perform differently in different geographical Locations/Climates. A bit like, Kebabs are bound to taste better when made in Turkey, and Greece than in the UK, lol!! The product I received smelt like a bottle of Air Freshner bought in a £1 Shop, and no one commends the way this "Parfum" smells anymore. I look forward to receiving "proper"/"genuine" Oudh Jamal Fragrance Spray (made in the UAE), like I used to receive for years. Many thanks.
