I’m really impressed with the MiniSun Traditional Style Black Security PIR Motion Sensor Wall Light. The delivery was excellent — it arrived quickly and well-packaged, with everything in perfect condition. Installation was a breeze and surprisingly quick. The instructions were clear, and I had it mounted and working in no time. It looks great on the wall — classic, stylish, and well-built. What really stands out is how much light it gives off! The 360-degree glass enclosure ensures the brightness spreads evenly in all directions, making it perfect for lighting up my driveway and front garden. The PIR motion sensor is responsive and works exactly as expected. Overall, this light is a fantastic addition to any home exterior — great design, powerful illumination, and simple setup. Highly recommended!

Replaced our old cast alloy lamps when the sensors broke down. These are functionally good, sensor works fine and timer is fixed a 1 minute of no motion, so very adequate. Quality wise, all moulded plastic but with glass windows. It doesn't sit as flush to the wall as I would like because the cable entry way is a bit tight. The whole thing, including wiring space, is smaller than the old design. Overall not bad considering the price.

Fast service and good value for money

This unit is very poor. The unit is plastic and the moulding is so poorly done I had to remove lots of excess plastic around where the glass slots in to the shade before three of the small panes would fit. The glass has to fit snugly or the top will not fit. Unfortunately I do not have pictures of this, BUT I have attached pictures of one of the screws, that is similarly mishapen, that came in the box. Like the plastic moulding, very poor and, as you can see, it has a massive misshapen head that won't screw in. Also the glass panes shed small shards if slightly mishandled BE AWARE. This is very dangerous. The unit does work, though, and looks neat when installed. However, I would not recommend to anyone who does not want a long and fiddly process of sorting out the issues that the unit has.

I was worried when buying it as the material I usually go for is metal, but due to many metal items I have used do tend to shed their paint after a couple of years hopefully this plastic will keep its colour for much longer! When attaching to the wall you have 2 screw holes at about 4 oclock and 10 oclock which isn't as easy as having the screw holes at 9 and 3, but it does have a useful 'UP' arrow showing the base alignment. The rubber seal into the housing is located in the upper right at an angle allowing wires to reach much easier than the old ones I've previously used. Getting the 'light' to screw onto the base was a bit fiddly, if the screws had been moulded into the base it would have been easier, but using a screw driver to push on the back of the bolts allowed easier mounting on brick work (if onto a flat surface, probably would be much easier). Very happy with the product and seals very nicely with twist lock lid and slide lock glass. Fits screw type bulbs and even my fiancée said 'good job' about them, so very high praise indeed.

The PIR detector is fixed and not adjustable, it has a wide field of view between 5 & 8 metres. The light sensitivity is also non adjustable and neither is the time the light stays on, it is fixed at staying on for 60 seconds. Fitting wasn't to difficult but the lamp is heavy for the backplate and as such I had to use a wooden wedge in the bottom between the wall and the backplate to stop the light from leaning forwards, I then sealed it all round against the wall with black silicon which looked tidy when it was done. Electrical wise it couldn't be easier it just has 2 brown & blue wires ( earth is not required) Had the PIR been adjustable it would have had a better rating from me I hope this helps someone 🙂

Lightweight and easy to instal. Excellent value for money

simple to install although I found the wiring diagram differs to what was seen when you opened it up. Cannot see it going rusty as made of plastic. One criticism would be that the retaining nuts have a small cap on to finish the product off. If the nut is tightenend too much the cap falls off. I would recommend this product

Ottima lampada. Si accende di sera passandoci accanto anche a distanza non troppo ravvicinata. Non è possibile regolare la durata dell'accensione e neanche la luminosità crepuscolare. Ma va bene così. Fa quello che mi aspettavo

Das Aussehen (GUT) und die Montage (EINFACH) ist so wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe. Aber dafür, dass das ganze aus Plaste ist, finde ich es einfach zu teuer. Hatte solch eine Laterne aus Guss vor 5 Jahren noch für die Hälfte bekommen. Funktionieren tut sie einwandfrei. Und das ist glaube die Hauptsache.

Très simple à installer, détection très efficace personnes, animaux et voiture

Funciona perfectamente, tanto el sensor de luz, como el de movimiento. Solo se activa cuando está oscuro y si además detecta movimiento. Facil de instalar, bonita, y eficaz.

Tutto in plastica, un accrocco difficilissimo da montare perché tutto ad incastro. Sconsigliato
