Farming Simulator: Nintendo Switch Edition

Im not a farmer, but man I love this game. Its a little off the beaten path, but that gives it a special place in my game collection as a nice low-stress and somewhat relaxing game where you can do things at your own speed.It takes a bit to get used to the controls, their not quite what I would call intuitive, and I think sometimes I feel lost in the world of tractors and equipment, but a little googling about real farming will give you the answers that you need.

Great quality game. My husband has one for his Xbox and our 5 yr old loves it. So we got him this for his switch. He plays it every day after school. Very happy with my purchase.

As the first of its genre on the Switch, FS:NSE sets the bar high for future simulation titles on the platform. As a portable-ready version of Farming Simulator 17, the game is surprisingly full featured and packed with content. Fans of the series will appreciate this title immediately, as it feels just like playing on the PC or any other home console.Visuals take a noticeable hit in both handheld and docked modes: While textures are generally crisp and clean, FSAA, shadow, and lighting effects are (to put it mildly) uninspiring. This is most evident on a big screen, and far less of a distraction when played in handheld mode. Unfortunately, even with an option to scale the UI, much of the text and some of the icons are very tiny in handheld mode. I would recommend new players learn the game while docked for this reason, as I found my eyes became quite strained after "plowing" through the tutorial in handheld mode. Once you have a handle on the intricacies of the game, though, reading becomes far less important! The text and icon sizes shouldn't be as much of an issue for those already familiar with the game.In addition to the aforementioned UI scaling option, you can also choose a FOV value that suits you, and I was very pleased to see they included this. You can also customize various game settings that determine how the game plays, ensuring that everyone from hardcore sim players to casual gamers should be able to enjoy themselves in equal measure.Overall, this is a must-buy for fans of the series who want to take their farm with them wherever they go. The Farming Simulator games have always offered some of the most relaxing, zen experiences one can have in a simulation, and this Switch Edition exceeds my expectations on nearly every level. I'm going to be spending many, many hours with this one!

Absolutely perfect pace of a game for the switch, and if your a farm sim player, want it on the go, and are tired of half a$$ mobile ports....this is it, ahhh zen on the go!

Same as 2017 but switch version. Thought it was FS 2018. My fault.

My 8 year old loves the Xbox version of the game so when we saw we could get it to go for the switch we jumped for joy. He plays this all the time and says it’s just as good as the Xbox version.

I thought I was buying the new version of this game farm simulator 20 after reading the misleading info. So When I got the old version in the mail from this company, I was not impressed! Had to order another from GameStop and pay extra to have it shipped in time for Christmas!! Very unhappy!!

It's nice...my 12 year old son is excited and enjoying...
