Save a few bucks on these. Had a couple more windows in the house that I wanted sensors on so picked these up. Look and feel like new. New batteries in them. Install was seamless.Only thing I would like is a much slimmer magnet option - which should be standard - this would make installation on double hung windows with little to no clearance a lot easier. You can pick up the slim magnets for $4.99 each - and all magnets from Ring will work with all generations of sensors.Another option might be a strong enough magnet or magnetic tape that fits in the window gap - but I'm gonna leave that battle for another day!

I installed these on windows just days before going on a two week vacation. I started receiving low battery alerts from one of the sensors just a day or two into my vacation, and the battery died within a couple days of the first alert. I figured the sensor just had bad batteries and replaced them when I arrived home. I don't think more than a few days went by before I again received low battery alerts from this same sensor.I did not want to remove the other sensor and thought Amazon would require I do so since these were a two-pack. I decided to call Ring instead, and customer service was great. I just needed to provide the SN on the sensor and customer service sent me a replacement. Ring wanted the defective sensor and emailed me a prepaid UPS shipping label. It does not get much more simple than that. Yes, I was out a couple batteries the sensor drained, but I had purchased a multi-pack and had plenty.
