I got two of these sconces to put on each side of the bed so I could remove the table lamps that took up so much space on the nightstands. I am using these with the cords rather than hardwiring them, since there were no previous hardwired lamps in place (thus available wiring) and I'm not an electrician. The hardest thing about putting them up was doing the measuring and penciling in the spots on the wall for placement of the mounting plates. The manufacturer didn't include a template, but I drew around the lamp base onto a piece of cardboard, cut out the shape, and used painter's tape to adhere it to the wall until I got it placed exactly where it needed to be, then drew around the shape with a pencil. At this point, proper placement of the mounting plate was easy and all that was left was attaching the body of the lamp, then adding the bulb and the globe. They are beautiful! I love the old-world look of them, and the dimmable bulbs make them perfect for using in the bedroom, as I can bring up more light for reading or dim it down to the amount of light a nightlight would produce. Another nice thing is that whenever you use the on/off switch on the cord, it will turn the light on at the same brightness you had it set at the time you last turned the lamp off. These lamps are so worth the price, and appear to be of very good quality. I just love them! (And recovering the extra space on the nightstands that my lamps used to take up is pretty awesome, too!)

Beautiful sconces! Good weight to them. Brightness was perfect. Flame bulbs look amazing in them! Make sure to get the narrow flame bulbs!! Not all the glass globes are the same size at the base and the regular C26 based lg sized flame bulbs may or may not fit in the globes. I will be ordering the 1.5 inch wide bulbs and using the others in my antique lamps, so the bulbs are still a win!They look the same as they are pictured. I got the plug wired set, I did not want to hardwire them in, so that if I chose to move them, I wouldn't have to replace them! The switch works easily, and there is a dimmer dial, it does work, but I don't plan to use it, but it is there if I choose to.I highly recommend this sconce set to anyone wanting an antique oil lamp looking set of lights for your decor.

Loved these scones!! The glass is not clear , they have an amber color which, I love!! Well made and easy to install just what the picture showed, the base is metal not wood and has a copper tone to it beautiful!!

Love these lamps. They look so good in our new sunroom. We have a lot of compliments on them.

The light is easy to install and looks better in person than in pictures. Unfortunately, the arm was bent a little, and I was unable to fully straighten it. The globe tilts a little, but I still have it up and I am enjoying it.

We have not had a light on our back porch in a while after we installed a fan that did not have a light due to the height of our low ceilings. This light was very easy to install using our corner flood light sockets.

This was even better than I expected it to be! I got it up on my wall super quick & easily, makes my living room feel like a tavern. The dimming feature is an extra bonus, it would be perfect even without it. Don't forget to buy your bulbs.
