Trebisky Wireless Game Show Buzzer Set, 8 Answer Buzzers with Light & Sound

***Update: not even 5 minutes after messaging the company (on the 4th of July no less), I received an email saying they will replace the broken buzzer. Amazing customer service! Update 2: Within a week, I have a new buzzer at no extra cost. I am very happy with this service!*** I teach early morning seminary and wanted a way to tell who buzzed first when we do quick fire scripture reviews. This system worked great! The range wasn't a problem for me, the controller didn't lose connection, the battery life seems to be good. I loved that there were enough buzzers that I could have up to 8 teams. I loved that they were wireless. I like that the buzzers light up and make noise. I found the buzzer noise obnoxious, but my students wanted to keep the noise on so it obviously didn't bother them (to be fair in a noisy classroom setting the sound wasn't too bad). The instructions were easy and I learned quickly how to work the remote. I would say I used these buzzers 5 or 6 times right out of the box without needing to charge them. One problem. As I took them out to take a video for this review, I noticed that one of the buzzers is broken. It is still functional, but the plastic parts that hold two of the screws inside have broken. Whether this is from use (my teenage students were enthusiastic) or just from poor manufacturing, I don't know. For such an expensive system, I would expect the materials to be of the highest quality and not easily broken. Because one of the buzzers did break without excessive use, I have dropped a star. All in all it was worth the money and I expect to be using these game buzzers for years to come, both in the classroom and at home, but I will be contacting the manufacturer to see if they will replace the buzzer. If they do, I will update my review.

Probably the most thought out buzzer system on Amazon I’ve tried the others with the colorful buttons they are god awful. This one is really thought out tho no forced timer a mute button a remote that lets you countuine without resetting the buzzer It is genuinely really nice. Batteries are included that’s a very nice touch. And connection is great. Unfortunately my set came with a defective buzzer so I will be returning. It still probably the best on Amazon though

9/22/25 edit: I still love my buzzers. They work great. Unfortunately, one of my students stole one of my buzzers. I contacted Trebisky to try to order a new buzzer and they wouldn’t let me buy one. Instead, they sent me one for free. This company deserves more than 5*. I use these for science bee practice. My students each receive a buzzer and it is easy to track on the remote who buzzes in first. It allows for continuing (and locking out buzzers with an incorrect response). I have had no issues with connectivity in my classroom. The noise it makes when pushed can be jarring but it is able to be muted. The buzzers are small but are holding up to use by middle schoolers and are serving the purpose I need. Battery life is good. I’m happy with my purchase.

The buttons work great! Super easy to program. Super easy to use. The buzzer is great. Everyone really enjoyed the buttons. No question who pushed the button first. Perfect for trivia! Especially love that they are wireless. Update: I purchased them in 2022 and still have them in 2025. They are a party. Favorite! People ask me to bring them. They work great. Super easy to use! Look no further!

I've been using these buzzers for years at conventions, where my wife & I host game shows. They've been outstanding and have held up perfectly! We've had other "egg-based" buzzers break numerous times, but these are like new. At a recent convention, someone stole one of the buzzers while we were distracted. When I contacted Trebisky about purchasing a replacement, they offered to send me one for free. They even included an additional charging cable! These have been worth every penny!

Buzzers change color when pressed to blue. The rest stay red until next player buzzes in. Great practice for academic games. Teacher loved it!

I really wanted to love these buzzers, but thought they were too complicated work for the price. It took me several failed attempts to get these to sink to the remote. Once I figured it out, I had to reset them between every use. This was not ideal when you had a classroom full of students waiting to play a game. Once I got them to work, they were actually pretty cool. The continue button was the best part of these buzzers. They allowed you to continue the game after a wrong answer has been given locking those players who answered wrong. If these had been easier ti use, I probably would have kept them.

Really good for interactive training sessions that are quiz based. But is it really worth almost £400 ?? Don’t think so
