Vitamix S30 058371 Personal Blender, 1.2 L, 950 W - White

Can only imagine customers were buying these instead of the £500+ ones, as they are every bit as good at half the price. So much better than a NutriBullet regardless of power rating as they come with a jug that can bled hot liquids. Cannot do that with a bullet!

I have ordered a new product sold and shipped by Amazon UK, not a refurbished or used one, so everything looked sealed and brand new when opening the box. However, to my surprise, the base of the blender has a yellowish stain and scratches on one side. Of course they don't affect the performance or functionality of the blender, but you don't expect these on a new product. The yellow stain and the scratches don't look like being caused during the transport. I have tried removing the stain with a damp cloth but I had no success in doing this, it is still there. I tried taking some pictures to show this and I have sent them to Vitamix hoping for an explanation.I have contacted Amazon UK support and they assured me that this is a new product, not a refurbished or used one. They have also given me the option to return or change the product, but I have already used it once and I won't find that fair of me.I am confident in their good faith however I am disappointed with the experience of receiving a new product that is stained and scratched. In my humble opinion it has nothing to do with Amazon UK but with Vitamix own factory quality control. It's like buying a new car that has a visible scratch on one door.As said, I have already used it for making a smoothie, great blending and great results, very smooth and velvety. It doesn't leak and it's not that noisy either. Doesn't take much space on the countertop. This is a huge step forward from your regular kitchen blender. It's powerful and it shows.I jumped on a GBP169 deal so I saved like GBP130 from the regular price of GBP300.The blender is assembled in Asia (Malaysia). I for one thought all Vitamix blenders are manufactured and assembled in the USA, hence the high price tag for them. Anyway, it comes with a 7 year warranty, so you're covered.I am looking forward to preparing my daily smoothies and nut butters or ice-creams in it.

The product I received seems to be faulty (bought in store), I cannot turn it on. Do not recommend

Love my Vitamix. I didn't want the full size version as it's far too pricey and huge. This one is ideal for a home user and is fantastic.

The only complaint is that it is a bit expensive but apart from that it is powerful an very versatile.
