Very pleased with this new watch. Seems genuinely tough and it's definitely waterproof - I've been wearing it for 2 days at work now and it's had plenty of knocks and dealt with a lot of submersion.

What kind of a watch do you get for €12/£11? Frankly I wasn't expecting much in regard to quality, so when the watch arrived what did I find? Well it certainly is no Seiko or Casio g-shock but the quality is far better than I expected. First the strap, well it's soft, pliable & comfortable to wear. The sections nearest the watch are fixed in place & are not flexible at all, this may seem to be a bad idea but in practice it works well as the fixed part is angled so the watch sits perfectly on the wrist & is less likely to slide around, in fact it just stays put; so far so good. The watch is of course quite large. This is it's selling point, 46mm across edge to edge & the display is 33mm, the designers have chosen to fill this real estate with a much larger led display than normal; it's huge in comparison. The daylight display is crisp, contrasty & given the size very easy to read. I have mine set in the 24 hour mode, the display reads a 2 character day, the month & the date on the top line; note the date arrangement is in the US format -month then date, not the European format of day/date but I can live with that. As stated earlier the hours/minute figures are huge, 10mm high! The third line is the second figure, as I have my watch set to the 24 hour mode the A or P (am/pm) marker disappears. Over all then top marks for the display, no clutter. The case is of course plastic & there are minor moulding marks, but then those lines are also present on Casios too! No surprise at this price point there is an acrylic face. The time is very easy to set as the 4 buttons work well. I went stealth mode, removed the logo & the water depth marking with very fine wet/dry sandpaper & then an even finer grade to polish out any sanding marks. The night display? unusually this isn't the typical backlit display, the backscreen is not illuminated, the figures change from black to glowing green, which is rather nice; not the brightest perhaps, but more than bright enough to read. Absolutely no complaints there. The stop watch facility is good, a press of the mode button brings you directly into the stopwatch, pressing a second button starts the timer, press the button again the timer stops & a third press starts it again where it left off. Pressing the third button resets the timer to 0. Press the mode button twice gets you into alarm mode. It's not the loudest of alarms but it's ok. The watch came operating so there's no way of knowing how much battery life is left. The battery is a CR2025 easily obtainable & inexpensive. The back presumably stainless steel is secured by 4 screws so unless you are cack handed you can change the battery easily enough yourself or have jeweler do it. Waterproof? I suspect this is where it's not so good. The manufacturer advises against operating the buttons while underwater, the suggests that the watch is not fully sealed & pressing the buttons breaks the seal allowing the ingress of water. So not fully waterproof then, I wouldn't risk it in a shower or pool, but hey it's only £10, if you want a functional waterproof watch look elsewhere. So in conclusion this is a very decent watch at a silly low price. I love it!

Cheap and cheerful watch. Big face. Big numbers. Sturdy strap. The indy-glow isn't its standard look, that's what it looks like when the light is activated- so they get a star removed for the deception. The face is the bog-standard grey digital.

I needed a watch to wear at work that was easy to read both in daylight and at night. This watch does both really well and looks good too. Highly recommended.

This watch brings back the old fashioned into today’s trends, the quality is excellent Sturdy but comfortable, large but not bulky, so easy to setup, it’s got a really snazzy strap, I don’t know why you’d want to spend lots of money on a watch that does everything but cook the dinner, you’re actually looking at your phone more, no more putting your watch on charge overnight either, 10/10 I’ve got a small collection of watches but this is now my Go too,

The date doesn’t change after 12 o’clock

I like it. Easy to set up. Big face/display. Instructions included a 2 year extension warranty but states ‘ waterproof for washing up but do not wear when swimming, sauna etc. still happy for the price

L'orologio è arrivato un giorno in anticipo ,grazie sempre ad Amazon prime - ho tanti orologi per passione automatici,al quarzo ecc ecc, ma! ,questo orologio Civo digitale 50 m mi ha fatto un ottima impressione molto positiva ,mi piace il grande schermo e al display numeri grandi, l' accensione di sera o di notte del quadrante è luminosissimo molto positivo. La retroilluminazione è buona, ottimo design ,cinturino leggero ,ed è facile impostare data ,giorno e data -sono molto soddisfatto ! lo ricomprerei. Ciro@Beato

genau was ich gesucht habe, nicht zu groß und nicht zu klein und nicht zu dick, was ich vor der Bestellung noch befürchtet habe, aber die Uhr ist für meinen Geschmack absolute nicht zu dick und man spürt sie auch kaum am Handgelenk, da die Uhr auch sehr leicht ist und die Ablesbarkeit ist einfach spitze 👍Datum und die riesigen Ziffern müsste als fast blinder ablesbar sein, die Beleuchtung ist ebenfalls unglaublich stark, bei absoluter Dunkelheit schon fast zu stark, war auch schon Baden damit, also auch wasserdicht. Mir gefällt diese schlichte, sportlich wirkende Uhr mit ihrer super Ablesbarkeit von Uhrzeit aber auch Datum sehr gut. Wie lange sie hält, bzw. die Batterie hält, wird sich noch erweisen, Preis/Leistung (für 22€) jedenfalls top 👌 ich werde sie mir sicher nochmals holen, sollte sie nach 1-2 Jahren den Geist aufgeben Update nach fast 2 1/2 Jahren. Die Uhr /Batterie funktioniert noch immer tadellos, leider ist mir aber heute das Armband abgerissen. Schade das man nicht so einfach ein passendes Ersatzband dafür bekommt. Ich bleibe trotzdem bei einer super Bewertung für die Uhr, da 2 1/2 Jahre für den Preis schon spitze ist.
