This is by far the best book I have seen for SC.This book goes into details which will definitely get you score more points in SC.Highly Recommended. Go buy it you won't be disappointed.I did private tutoring with Kaplan and their VERBAL is appalling.MOREOVER KAPLAN BLATANLTY LIES. KAPLAN BLATANTLY LIES.PLS DONT GO FOR KAPLAN PRIVATE TUTORING OR CLASSROOM COURSES. THEY SAY IN THEIR WEBSITE THAT YOU CAN TAKE COURSES FOR FREE AGAIN AND AGAIN NO MATTER HOW MANY POINTS YOU WANT TO IMPROVE USING THEIR HIGH SCORE GUARANTEE. BUT YOU CAN TAKE HSG ONLY ONCE AND AFTER THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE COURSE OR ONLINE ACCESS.KAPLAN LIES AND IF I CAN CONVINCE ATLEAST 1 STUDENT NOT TO TAKE KAPLAN COURSES, I HAVE SUCCEDED BECAUSE COMPANIES WHO BLANTALY LIE TO GET BUSINESS SHOULD NOT EXIST.I DO UNDERSTAND KAPLAN LYING AND THIS BOOK HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE REVIEW, BUT I WANT TO INFORM EVERYBODY AS HOW KAPLAN LIES WHERE EVER I CANGOOD LUCK WITH YOUR GMAT

This is the best GMAT SC perp book available in the market. In depth coverage of GMAT area though it might be basic for some. It takes each area in SC, for e.g modifiers, verbs, irregular verbs, pronouns, idioms etc and offers fundamentals and few examples. Use this book along with other available material and you are ready to crack SC exam.Don't buy1. If you are looking for a grammer book.2. If you are good in grammer and looking for question bank.Overall I will recommend for people who are out of touch with english grammer and want to tackle GMAT SC in minimum possible timeframe.

There are not a lot of books on just SENTENCE CORRECTION, which is why I was attracted to this book. It was the one area in the verbal portion of the exam I needed work, and this book does a great job walking you through the basics and putting all the pieces together. This is not a quick outline book, but a thorough read that will take a good week to master. I am now reading it a second time to reinforce what I learned. Most other books cover all the verbal, but if you want to really LEARN this stuff (sentence correction), get this book to fill in the gaps.

If you want to score well in GMAT, this is the book you want to use. This is coming from someone who scored 760/780. While I won't attribute all of my success to PowerScore GMAT Sentence Correction Bible, it definitely played a role! Strongly recommended!

If you have been out of college for more than 5 years and your current job does not require you to write professional letters often, this is a great book to use for brushing up on good ole grammar! I found it to truly help my overall gmat verbal score(I was in the 85th percentile). It was good to review prior to jumping into the OG and Kaplan. If you need need a serious grammar review this book is for you. It is to be used as a learning tool not a strategy tool!

Great book - I'm absolutely satisfied. Highly recommended! A bought a used book just for few dollars - almost for free, but it looks like a new one, great condition. Don't pay more, buy used books. Keep in mind that the books were previously used by such good students as you are, nothing spoiled.

So, I saw very little help with the grammar, no which/that questions, no parallelism, no the/a , this is barely supplemental for that price. I’d pay $6 at the best. for grammar I prefer Oxford grammar books, they cover everything (not for gmat, but still more useful). This book is fine if you have some money and time to spare. And still, after I saw way harder questions on gmat, it became very annoying to realize I’ve actually bought it. This is also offensive to call this a bible because of such a poor content. Sorry

Tried many GMAT Verbal books. This one definitely provided the prospective and support necessary for increasing my verbal score. Would recommend to anyone trying to improve their GMAT score. I found myself going back to this book to understand incorrect answers from my practice exams.
