Hope this helps existing AVG users.
follow instructions in box first before you uninstall as it will ask you if you already have an AVG logon. Also logout and log back in again on AVG itself on device(s) before you think expiry date has not been updated. I uninstalled on two devices and then installed this and then was left thinking the uninstall wouldn't have been necessary if your already an AVG user.If you do need to uninstall this was quite simple under apps in setting on windows 10. I just clicked on AVG app and it gives you the option to uninstall with a few simple questions along thw way.Would be five stars if it had given any help to existing AVG users in box.

Second hand activation code.
Please be aware the boxed product comes with an activation code which has already been used. That's right you cannot activate this product. You will find you have been robbed. Please do not waste your money.

My favourite anti virus.
I have used AVG both free and paid for and never had any virus or hacking problems. I have a fair bit of computer experience and having tried others (Norton, McAfee etc) I find it most user friendly and least problematic. It has come on leaps and bounds over the last ten years and I would recommend it to any user who just wants to install it and not have to think about it again.

I wanted to write a review to say this worked on my PC Window 10 just fine if you do actually take the time to read the install procedures fully. I purchased the download version.I agree it could be clearer but in my case the only issue seemed to be waiting for my email to be confirmed. It seems to me that the email varify auto system does not work over the weekend for some reason, on Monday I had 8 emails from them where I had been trying to get the email to send to me. When I received the email and clicked to verify it all went live. I now have 2 years full AVG cover for £20 which is way way lower than what AVG offered it to me for on renewal.This download does not look like it requires the very long activication code from AVG for it to work. Not sure why. So all in all I'm very happy. Its not a scam as some buyers seem to suggest. Not in my case anyway.

Avoid this product
Please Avoid this product. The activation code is not long enough and when you contact AVG retail they tell you your computer needs to have junk removed, even tough i have AVG installed on my PC and have just done a scan and clear up. They want you to part with £59.00 so an advance technician can remotely remove the files ? Never had i heard so much rubbish and what a scam to get more money out of you. Just want to make people aware.

TOTALLY USELESS AS FOR AVG CUSTOMER SERVICE A 3 LEGGED DONKEY IS MORE USEFUL SPENT 3 HOURS WITH THEM UNINSTALLING REINSTALLING UMPTEENTH TIME INTERNET SECURITY OPENS THEN DISAPPEAR I THEY WERE NO HELP AND DIDNT SEEM TO HAVE A CLUE NOW I HAVE 2 USELESS SOFTWARE (AVG TUNE-UP) THAT SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING AS I SAID CUSTOMER SERVICE VERY POOR NOW I CANT GET A REFUND SO WILL CUT MY LOSES AND PURCHASE A MORE RELIABLE SOFTWARE VERY SHODDY SERVICE I WOULD NO LONGER RECOMMEND AVG.

I purchased AVG Internet Security, 2 Years, unlimited ...
I purchased AVG Internet Security, 2 Years, unlimited devices. Already have three PCs/laptops with AVG. The update went through smoothly and the 2 year period was extended from the current expiry date. No disk supplied, just a card with renewal details in a sealed pack. No new license number is provided with this. All my systems now show the new expiry date but the AVG screens retain the old AVG description. Hope this is helpful.

Really Easy to Install or Update Previous AVG Antivirus Software!!!
I've always used AVG and have found this so easy to update one that was due to run out... All I had to do was follow the instructions with it but with the exception of needing to download the installation software from off the AVG site as just had to log-in and out on to the one I had on my PC and Laptop previously and then restart them and that was it ready to use. Fully Recommend to anyone looking for a good antivirus etc... for multiple devices xx
