Autoleads SOT-976 Accessory Interface Lead

I received a genuine Autoleads cable and used it to install a io play 2 into my skoda octavia mk2. It was cheaper to get delivered next day with postage than buy from halfords who didn't have a clue about what I needed.Some tips:1. Some of the cables running into the main stereo plug on your cars loom will unclip and plug directly into the SOT lead plug that goes into the back of your stereo.2. Volkswagen group cars don't have a switched live at the stereo. The long red lead bundled up on the SOT lead is for this. I ran this to the fuse box by the drivers door, put a spade connector on the end and put it in to a spare slot where a fuse would go which gave me 12v when the ignition was on. Not too difficult and worked well. Worth noting that the io play wiring loom has an inline fuse on the red wire.3. One of the ISO blocks will be empty! Looking at the io loom all this was bypassed anyway.4. I didn't figure out the mute intercept on the sot lead but it doesn't seem to have affected it. Not sure if this is because I haven't got steering wheel controls.

Just what I needed for a Parrot CK3100 in a 56 plate VW Golf with an RCD300 radio. Had to swap permanent and switched ignition feeds and pick up a switched ignition feed from the cigarette lighter (black with with red line, not the brown wire). I didn't bother with the mute wire. Mounted the Parrot LCD unit between the radio volume control and the heater temperature dial, routing the wire mid way down the left hand side of the ash tray unit. There was plenty of room behind and below the radio to put all the wiring and Parrot modules.

Excellent product did the job, successfully wired my ck3100 to my e60 BMW without any problems now I can drive and talk on my phone safely. I was a bit double minded in buying this due to the price (cheaper than others)but am over the moon that it worked like a charm and I didn't pay too, much thanks for the excellent quality leads.

Hopefully will do the job it's intended for when item it is fitted to the parrot as these were the cables recommended

Overall ViewI replaced a radio in a MK5 Golf (2005) and also wanted to fit a Parrot Kit into the car at the same time.FittingVery simple to fit.. plug the original radio controls into this, and then plugged the Parrot kit into it also. Note: on a MK5 Golf, the red wire needs to be wired to a switched live. I originally was going to use the cigarette lighter, BUT this is a permanent live so if you're not careful, it could end up draining your battery. I instead fitted a spade connector to it and inserted it into a blank fuse socket in the fuse box on the right hand side of the car (UK spec).ConclusionThe Parrot MKi9200 works fine and it's been nearly 3 weeks now and no issues with battery drain or anything.

this made the installation of the Parrot kit very easy. Fitting all the extra cables behind the sterio of my Seat Toledo took a while but I got there in the end!

this was just what I needed to install my Parrot CK3000 Evolution,Worked straight away in my bmw 1 series.Also half the price of what Halfords is charging so win win.

Lead was just plug in and go very happy with purchase

No lo compréis es una castaña. No me valió para el coche de mi mujer, un bmw 118.Tube que devolverlo y encima me cobraron los portes para devolverlo. Vergonzoso
