Updated review 2 years on
I've left my original review from 2 years ago at the bottom of this update. However I'm providing an update for those who had wanted to use this as their main mattress. Short answer is, don't!After a few months, the firmness of the mattress decreased dramatically to that of a soft mattress. So soft that a friend sat on it and asked why she sank down so low and with my bad back why did I not order a medium firm mattress. She didn't believe that it was sold as a memory foam mattress, as the foam bounced straight back up. At that point, I was still insisting that it was a brilliant bed.Fast forward to 6 months of ownership, I finally went to Benson for Beds and ordered a £1k top of the range mattress. I had hoped to save money buying online. As mattress comfort is so subjective, reading reviews sometimes cannot beat trying it out yourself.I've now put this memory foam mattress in the spare room. My friends who sleep on it says it's lovely. The median rating from a variety of friends pitch the mattress as soft medium. This is after 6+months onwards, as it definitely felt firmer in the beginning.Still good value for money, if eventual soft medium firmness is what you're looking for.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Recently purchased a new bed and wanted to try a memory foam mattress without paying the earth for it for Tempur. Decided to try Bedzonline's memory foam topped reflex 3 zone mattress.I've read through the bulk of the feedback and knew the mattress is medium firm (I had a firm orthopaedic mattress previously and this mattress is softer). The memory foam topper is very thin, in fact so thin that I cannot feel the effect. But the mattress is comfortable and at 15cm is a lot slimmer than my previous mattress which was 25cm. This meant you need to really wrap fitted sheets around the bottom, otherwise sheets will come loose. The mattress came rolled up in a cardboard box. It recommends 72hrs for the bed to inflate to full depth. I found that after a couple of hours, it didn't rise anymore. But the factory smell was strong and didn't go until after 2 weeks.

Don't purchase unless you are buying from Bedzonline!
I bought the mattress thinking it was how it was described on the image but it wasn't! It's the worse mattress I have ever bought for any of my beds as it is too firm and after further inspection it turns out there was no memory foam in it. Avoid this seller as they are selling a fake item. This is the second mattress purchased but I thought I was buying from Bedzonline but turns out to be another company called Bedexpress thinking that it was the same listing.I have now had to skip the mattress as its not worth sleeping on. Since then I have managed to buy from a reliable seller Bedzonline where I also purchased 2 more mattresses for my kids. Their staff are very helpful on the phone and will keep you updated with any issues you have with the delivery if there is a delay. These guys know what they are talking about if you are unsure with which mattress to purchase. Thanks to them they helped me find the perfect mattress. If you are looking to buy a quality memory foam mattress then I recommend Bedzonline as I have purchased mattresses and memory foam toppers from them before. Also I have recommended friends and colleagues who are extremely happy with their purchases. Any problems and their friendly staff are just a phone call away. I had a slight problem with one of my kid's mattresses being damaged in transit which was no fault of theirs but as soon as I rang them they sent out a replacement the following day and collected the dodgy one. 5 stars for their excellent service.

A better alternative to low cost sprung mattresses
I've mostly had bad experiences with sprung mattresses so I was intigued to discover this type of mattress. Whilst being very cautious of anything new fangled I gave careful consideration the previous reviewers' comments and eventually this gave me the confidence to take the plunge and order one.I can honestly say that it is exactly what other people have said and I realise that I'm only echoing the good things that have been written about it already.Every time I get into bed now I feel like my bed is softly embracing me, much like a favourite armchair, and relaxes me immediately. One of my initial doubts had been whether a foam mattress would be firm enough to lie on yet I've found this mattress surprisingly firm, whether sitting up or lying down. The surface softness provides for a very comfortable experience. It's also very warm to sleep on and it took me a few days to get used to how much warmer it is to sleep on. This is a plus for me as I suffer with ME/CFS and this combination of warmth and comfort help significantly with my rest and sleep as well as with my aches and pains. The mattress is well made and covered all over with a good quality quilted material. There's only one consideration. It comes vaccuum packed straight from the factory, so be prepared for that factory-fresh, solvent like smell after opening up the wrapping. This will take up to a week to disappear but, in my mind, is a small drawback to a superb product.I thoroughly recommend it.

Bargain price for good night sleep.
Bought this mattress in July 2014 and just looking for another for my granddaughter. At the time of buying I thought that I'd take a chance on it at such a cheap price but only expected to get a year or so out of it. Now three years on and it's still as good. The mattress isn't very thick which is what has lost it a star but it is much thicker than a mattress topper, we don't have anything else with it apart from the bed linen. It gets flipped over and turned everytime we change the bedding so that may have helped.I have back and hip problems as well as phantom muscle pain (M.E.) and this mattress has been a godsend for me, I would buy another one like a shot. I have however read some reviews where other customers had received dirty/stained products, mine arrived in 2014 in perfect condition so I don't know if things have changed since then.
