SorelWomen's Caribou Wp Winter Boots

They do come up big (I'm a UK 5.5 but got size 6) but I will be wearing thick socks. I think they're designed wide to be able to keep upright when walking on, say, snowy terrain. They're kind of like ankle welly boots with a better grip. Incredibly comfy and for those with skinny ankles, the laces can be pulled in tight.

I was worried about which size to get but as there were so many mixed reviews, I decided to stick to my regular size. The boots are very chunky but hard wearing. Unlike a number of heavy duty snow boots, I found the Sorel Caribou to be incredibly comfortable and warm. I wouldn't recommend these boots to women with large feet. The rubber surround makes them look a lot bigger than your regular shoe size but if you're not too vain about it, id definitely recommend them.

Bought a pair for my usual shoe size but just a wee bit too snug. Returned for 1/2 size bigger and they’re perfect. Impressive return - very easy and new pair arrived next day. Love the look - have worn for walks of a couple of hours - boots are quite heavy but more importantly they are comfortable

So comfy and warm. I went with my actual size because I’d read that they bed in. When they arrived I was worried I’d made a mistake because they were very tight with my thick socks, however it didn’t take long wearing them with a slightly thinner pair for the inner boot to bed in. They are now just like really warm outside slippers.

Slightly large, but then that will be ok if you want to wear thicker socks.

Lovely boots so warm and comfy

Quite disappointed with those boots. Tested them in Ireland the other day. Around 7 hours outside, mostly standing in one place, thin socks on, temp outside 5 degrees Celsius only. Have to say my toes felt chilly. How on earth would those boots withstand - 40????

Amazing love them

I had heard how wonderful Sorel boots were, and finally have a pair of my own! They are comfortable, waterproof and warm. They will be perfect for my European winter holiday.

I use these boots to walk around out side in the snow and to play with my daughter in the snow. They are very comfortable to wear and keep my feet warm. They are very water resistant. I have not had any problem with the insert coming out, but I usually do have to fetch my socks from inside the boot. The size of the boot shocked me. My husband said they make my feet look like clown feet (I only wear a size 8), I had to ask a friend if that was normal, it was so I kept them and I'm glad I did. I was also shocked at how heavy these boots are. I usually buy more stylish boots, but those were not going to cut it for playing in the snow with a toddler. Once I got used to the heaviness of the boots they were fine. They are great for running around in the snow and have great traction. I wish I had bought these years ago.

Nous sommes partis en Laponie pendant la dernière vague de froid ,toute la semaine sous les moins 30°C avec des ressentis de moins 43°C. Et franchement au top ! Même meilleures que les bottes grand froid qu'on nous prêtait sur place.J'ai acheté une taille 40 alors que je fais du 38/39. c'est nickel quand on met 2 paires de chaussettes car il ne faut pas être trop serrés.Jamais froid , je ne regrette pas du tout mon achat. Mon mari a également acheté des bottes de cette marque et ravi également. On a rencontré une personne sur place avec les mêmes bottes et comme nous ,il a préféré ses bottes à celles qu'on nous prêtait.

I have had these boots for a couple of weeks now and have worn them several times. I normally wear a size 7.5/8 shoe. The toe box on these boots are wide and I love that! I am able to put heavy woolen socks on my feet and I am still able to move my toes around. This is an important factor for me because if you can’t wear thick socks and you can’t move your toes, your feet will get cold! I don’t believe they would keep my feet warm (for long) if I was ice fishing and standing on the ice for hours but they’re not advertised for that use. Sorel sells other boots for extreme weather activities. I highly recommend these boots!
