East Coast Angelina Cot Bed (White and Grey)

We bought this for our first, wanting a cot that would last as many years as possible and it had been very highly rated on Which?.com. When she came out of our room this is the bed she went into at 4months. She is now 2, we are on the lowest height and still very satisfied, seems a quality product at an amazing price. We are still using the cotsides, and it has withstood some bouncing! Has no cracks or chips. I suppose soon we will be using it as a bed. My huisband can lower the base by himself (fortunately cos we did argue putting it up).Any criticisms? On the lowest height level there is no room to store anything under the bed.The bolts that attach the rails protrude a little, I don't like the look of that and did wonder if they could pinch or scratch a little hand but so far nothing has happened and I don't notice them anymore. I would remove a half star for that.However I WOULD STILL BUY THIS COTBED. It is an amzaing price, will hold her for several more years yet, and withstand everything, while fairly attractive.

For those of you out there in the same situation as me I hope this helps. Junior is rapidly outgrowing her moses basket and we needed a size upgrade. I looked all around and done my research and finally decided on this Cot Bed. It was much cheaper than the famous baby stores' equivalents, but do not be misled by the cheaper price as it is a solid piece of kit. It arrives flat packed, as most furniture items these days. I checked over the items before assembly and everything was fine. The cot bed comsists of 2 end pieces, 2 rails and the mattress support. These are all held together by a total of 12 Allen--headed screws and a nut fastener that has to be aligned to the hole. Instructions are simple and clear, but I suggest your other half helps out, just to help with the aligning of the parts.In summary, a great product that does the job much cheaper than the competition. Two other points to note. First, I have read that some people have difficulty fitting the standard 140x70cm mattress. It does fit perfectly. I purchased the  KATY® Superior Deluxe Spring Cot Bed-Junior Bed Sprung Mattress 140x70 x 10CM THICK British Made With High Grade Density Foam CMHR28  mattress and it fits perfectly- apparently some people were inserting the mattress struts upside down and it made the mattress fitting too tight. There was a label on ours to say "this side up". Secondly, I suggest rubbing the parts down with a damp cloth before assembly- it is harder to clean after assembly obliviously!Enjoy the product!!6-month update. Our baby is starting to stand up so I have had to lower the bed frame- it is just 4 screws to unfasten, lower and then retighten. It took 10 minutes. There are 2 depths it will adjust to. The frame is still in tip top condition and very durable. Still 5*.2-year update. Wow- 2 years- it goes quickly. Little one still loving the bed. Side rails are still up and top plastic proctors are still in great shape. No paint chips either.

This product was fairly easy to assemble (took me and my husband about half an hour). It seems very sturdy. This doesn't have a drop-side which with hindsight I would have preffered. My 2 yr old is not quite ready for a bed but she is now quite heavy, and with the base being at its lowest setting I really struggle to lift her in and out (especially if she's asleep and I'm trying not to wake her)!

Awesome cot bed!All-pine bed. Base can be set to three different heights. Can be assembled *and adjusted* using just the supplied Allen/Hex key in a very small space. Feels solid and well made. Used all three height settings for the base. Teething rail has been useful. Bed has taken several good knocks from a thrashing/kicking child. Easy to clean. Very impressed. Mattress still going.2+ years updateHas been a rock solid bed. Other than some stickers, looks good as new. Would use for many more years, but LO has outgrown. Highly recommend this bed.

Lovely, solid pine cot from the East Coast range. This was easy to put together (2 people recommended) and looks lovely in our baby's nursery, next to the matching wardrobe and changing table.The cot arrived the week before we were told to expect it. This wouldn't ordinarily be a problem but we'd had it delivered to our new house and didn't actually move in until the following week. We therefore found the cot simply propped up against the shed! This could easily have been stolen or damaged in the poor weather!This is no reflection on the cot itself, however, so I've still given it 5 stars.

I am glad I followed the reviews, this product is of excellent quality and probably the best price out there. I have been looking for a cotbed for my 2months old son for a while, and this is by far the best price/quality.What you see on the picture is exactly what you get, no surprises.I do believe this is solid pine as the description says, although the bars seems a bit light to be solid pine.It came flat packed in 5 pieces. Very easy to assemble, I started on my own but I needed my husband to help for the last stage.I would highly recommend this cotbed!ALso, it arrived within a week, which was a plus.

This is a fantastic high-quality cot bed. Nice and steady and obviously child friendly. This takes around 20 to 30 minutes to assemble and it would be good to have someone give you a helping hand.My two-year-old loves this it is a very nice size and also looks as good as it does on the pictures.In hindsight I should’ve bought a cot bed straight away instead I had purchased a small a cot to use.Caters for all your needs from newborn all the way to a preschooler.
