Replacement drawer runner sets to fit most makes of cabinets. MFI, Argos, Ikea, Homebase, John Lewis, Tesco, Hygena , B&Q and many more manufacturers. This type of runner fits within a groove on the side of your drawer. The width of the groove is 17mm wide. To find the runner size you need close your runner and measure this length. This does not have to be an exact match just as long as the runner is shorter than the depth of your cabinet. The longer the runner, the better the opening of the drawer. The extended length is just given as information and is not a critical dimension. This is the length of the runner when fully opened. Fixing screw kit contents: 6. 3.5 x 12mm (6 x 1/2") Pan head wood screws. 2. M4 x 10mm Pan head machine screws. (This runner is also described as 310mm or 314mm but they are virtually the same item.) We also sell 250mm and 283mm versions of this runner.

Great IKEA Replacement
Got these to replace some broken runners on an IKEA set of drawers.Delivery was very quick and feel well made for the price. I am obviously unsure on the durability given that runners seem to break every five minutes so I’ll update this after a little while! At present I would definitely recommend

Ball bearings inside runner fell out, poor customer service
Bought to replace useless runners in Argos drawers, I only replaced one set of runners to see what they were like. At first I considered them to be sturdy, smooth and a good purchase but less than a month after getting them we found 4 of the ball bearings rattling in the drawer below. (It's worth noting that this was a set of drawers for my 14 month old, and although they are not a worrying size for an airway blockage, a kids mouth is not the only place where things end up). After requesting a refund with the above explanation Amazon had to step in to refund me and a few days later I've found a further 4 ball bearings on my kids floor.

Better than the original runners
I bought these to replace one set of runners in an antique (well, 1970s) Stag chest of bedroom drawers. The most-used drawer in the unit, so it was a little inconvenient when it collapsed. The new runners were very easy to fit, perfectly aligned, and they are actually smoother and sturdier than the ones in the other drawers (ie those which haven't been replaced). So far, I've been using the repaired drawer every day for more than 2 months without any problems. I'm delighted that I bought them - decent quality and excellent value for money.EDIT (15/04/15): The original replaced runners are still going strong, and I've just bought another couple of pairs, because yet another of the original sets of runners (different drawer) has given up the ghost. Yes, it's an old chest of drawers, and it is used every day. I'm guessing that it is only a matter of time before the whole lot is replaced.Again, the replacement runners arrived promptly, and they were easy to fit, with the screws supplied, and I'm ready for the next drawer to go - this time I have a spare set :-)EDIT (11/06/16): Three out of five of the drawers have now had their runners replaced, and they are all doing fine. How long for the last two? In hindsight, I should have just bought five pairs and replaced the whole lot three years ago. Never mind :-)

Runners are good and fit for purpose
Runners are good and fit for purpose. The only downside was the packaging.Whilst very prompt delivery, the runners were packed in a plastic bag and had to be repacked by Royal mail. The edges were very sharp and cut through the end of the bag and if not handled carefully, could cut somebody. In addition, the screws protruded through the flimsy bag and if anyone grabbed the bag tightly, would endure needle like pain.Second (minor) disappointment was the length of the screws supplied. For attaching to the drawer, these were too long and extended into the interior of the drawer. Replaced these with shorter screws. The screws supplied were suited to attaching to the cabinet sides. They are now safely out of harms way in the set of drawers.

Simple replacement
These are a simple replacement for worn out original runners. However they suffer from the same problem as the originals in that on a very well used drawer (possibly a little heavy as well) the balls seem to manage to pop out over time. Good job they are cheap and that I bought a spare set as these are nearly ready for replacing again due to not many ball bearings still being in them.

OK
These came delivered in a tightly wrapped poly bag. There are no fitting instructions with them, but luckily, this girly is no stranger to flat pack assembly, so fitting a couple of drawer runners was just a walk in the park. Or at least it would have been, if the correct screws had been included. The screws included were fine for attaching the runner to the carcase of the unit, but too long for the drawers, and too thin. It needed short thick blunt ended ones, which, as luck would have it, I had. Because of the faff over the screws, I have had to knock off 1 star, because if I had not had the correct ones, it would have meant a trek to the hardware shop.

how to correctly fit metal ball bearing runners to wooden carcase
There is two fundamental problems with these runners. There are no fitting instructions and the gold screws supplied to fit the runners are not the type of fixing screws that the runners were designed to be fitted with if they are to be fitted to a wooden case.the screws that should be supplied are a euro screw Varianta it is supplied through various wholesalers Iin the UK and appears to be marketed through ' HAFELE '. The hole size in the runners is 5mm and on these runners there are 19 holes per runner I reckon you need a minimum of 6 srews per side per runner. You have to drill a 4mm hole in the carcase for each screw to secure the runner.

don't bother
Only had them on my desk for 7-10 days and already the black part with the small ball bearings has broken off of one side making it difficult to slide and use, looks like the entire thing is going to break away at any moment, completely useless.*edit*Few hours after writing my review it fell apart completely, the wooden platform and one of the metal things fell on top of me while I was sat at my desk, now have some scrapes and pains in my legs feet and hands, do not buy this product, get something better.
