Recal block paving sealer
Wow! This is good stuff. It looks like, and has the consistency of water but any worries are quickly dispelled by the smell. Yes, it has a strong chemical smell but using it outdoors, the smell is bearable and soon dissipates. I applied it to the block paving on my front and side path after first jet washing the path and allowing it to dry. Using a hand pumped fence sprayer the sealer was easy to apply. It dried within an hour to a matt finish which was indistinguishable from its pre seal state, but believe me, it works and now two months after application the block paving has retained it's original look. I only required one tin as the coverage was brilliant and as I still had half a tin left I went over it again with the rest of the tin but I am sure that one coat would do the job anyway. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great product but, oh dear, the smell !
I had my garage virtually rebuilt as it was originally built as a place for cows or horses many eons ago. The roof was heightened and the floor was made good with concrete but as this was my first garage I had no idea that I had to seal the new floor. The builder advised that I leave the floor for as long as possible to enable the many tons of concrete to dry thoroughly so nearly a year later I bought 2 x 5 litres of Rycal for a garage floor 20' x 24'. I used an all purpose garden spray and managed four coats. It was so easy to distribute the Rycal with the spray but the neighbourhood stank for a few days. It reeked! I had to leave the garage door open each day for over a week but the stench has yet to clear. It appears to be getting easier , either that or my tolerance of it is increasing. The stench is the only reason I have given this product 4 stars as it was easy to put on and is a very effective water repellent ( my dog christened it ) add this to the cost and it is a wonderful product.

Great product.
Certainly cheaper than getting done professionally. Ensure drive it area completely clean and free from sand. Put on with roller really liberally. We found we needed 2 cans for our drive which is just long enough for 2 average cars. It does have strong fumes so endure you wear mask.

Not bad for the price
Purchase this sealer to help maintain the appearance of the drive. Easy enough to apply but i think you would need three. coats to have a real impact. Sold as a sealer to help prevent grease and the elements from attacking your drive. To be honest i'm not sure it even works. You may be better just jet washing your drive once a year the adding kiln dried sand to the joints .

Good product.
I'm really happy the way this product helped my patio. I put it on with a roller. It dried so fast but it was a hot day. It has darkened and given it a gloss. looks like new! I did use a Homebase product for the 1st gloss. I think giving the 2nd gloss the tile was less porous and I didnt not use all the can.

Semi gloss slab sealer.
I Brought the sealer to use on a newly laid concrete riven slab patio. 5ltrs covered 14m2 with 2 coats. It has darkened the colour of the slabs and given them a gloss sheen effect. When it rains the water forms beads on the slab. This shows it hasformed a waterproof layer on the slabs. I would recommend the product as a means of sealing similar areas.

Great, except for the poor design of the tin.
I used this in a pump action pressure bottle to apply as a fine mist to my paver block drive after pressure washing. 5 litres covered the area shown in my photography plus about a third as much again. It might have gone a bit further had I not wasted so much when pouring it out. It is unavoidable due to the poor design of the can. It sloshes everywhere so you need to be covered, hands particularly, and place it where it can't damage the surface under where you are pouring and preferably outdoors as the fumes are great when it's sloshing everywhere. The decanting problems are the only reason I haven't given it 5 stars, but it is a problem and causes waste so it is justified.
