Playmobil5308 Dollhouse Living Room with Fireplace, Fun Imaginative Role-Play, PlaySets Suitable for Children Ages 4+

Fantastic product, good quality and plenty of pieces. Looks fabulous in my little girls dolls house.

This is a Playmobil Living Room, which I bought to go with the Deluxe Dollhouse (this has six room sets, including a kitchen, bathroom, parent’s bedroom, children’s bedroom and a nursery/baby’s room).Like all Playmobil sets, this is simply full of detail, including a light up fireplace. There is one figure, a sofa, chair, coffee table, entertainment centre, including TV and lots of little accessories – including a cat, telephone, plant and even a little magazine. Of course, lots of these little pieces can be a choking hazard for little ones, so be careful. The box says ages 4 – 10 and I certainly would not recommend this for any child who is still liable to put toys in their mouth.It is worth mentioning that, if you look on the Playmobil website, you can get lots of extra sets/starter sets (some of which are suitable for the doll house) and which are cheaper as they are not boxed, but come simply wrapped in plastic. Worth a look if, like me, you are looking to furnish the whole house; especially as they have some sets that do not seem available here – such as a music room or teenage bedroom; as well as extensions to enlarge the actual dollhouse.

I bought this set as part of the furniture for the Playmobil Deluxe Dolls House. It is really cute - plenty of imagination has gone into making some really interesting pieces. We loved the wood burning stove which is battery operated to show flames. It cleverly only stays on for one minute so the batteries should last for ages. Our little one is not yet four and although he loves playing with the house he finds it difficult to manipulate the very small pieces. (It does state on the box that the contents are for 4+) I have put away the tiniest bits and pieces until he is older as I thought they would probably end up in the vacuum cleaner!Just lovely.....

This set is a fresh, colourful, contemporary living room with all the basics you need to add or update your little people's home. The battery powered fireplace is a fun addition and how can you have a cosy home without a pussy cat! The TV set and the magazine are illustrated with horses winning ribbons, but it'd have been nice to have a choice of stickers for them as well as the graphic decoration stand. The rug and floor tile panel are printed on card, as the magazine, the rest is all plastic. The parts are easy to assemble and feel strong enough to survive being played with, though ehe candle stick and phone are small and I would be careful of younger children putting them in their mouth as they could be choking hazard. Whether you are 5 or 55, if you or your kids like Doll's Houses then this is a great addition to one! All in all a nice little set and make sure to grab yourself a couple of AAA batteries for the fireplace.

My granddaughter who received this for Christmas at age 2 years 8 months is crazy about Playmobil and this living room set is adorable. There are many tiny pieces and thankfully she's not a child that puts anything in her mouth. If she were we would have to wait on these sets until she's a little older. It's so cute how Playmobil thinks of every little details the light up fireplace is great!These sets allow children to further develop their imagination as they talk for each of the figurines.
