Tretorn Otto Canvas Boat Shoe

After going through a search of many boat shoes, these are actually perfect. At first, I accidently bought a size larger however that worked out just perfectly. My feet are rounded, but the shoe is somewhat of a point. I do recommend to others if they have wide or rounded feet to do the same as it won't fit you to your actual size, and you'll need to get a half size or a full size larger. They are simple and look better than most of the ones I've seen. I've worn many loafers, moccasins and boat shoes. These are pretty much a good fit in to all the one's I've tried and used.As someone who switch out of slippers normally and switched to sockless shoes, I do recommend these in particular. There is a discomfort as your feet get smelly if you don't have the proper counter measures. When you buy these shoes, it's best to buy a pair of odor eliminating insoles. The pair or Tretorns come with a polyester or rubber type insole that is cushion for your feet, and that small 3 millimeter cushion does a lot for long distance walks. I do recommend when you put in new odor eliminating insoles is that you keep the other insoles inside as well for a better cushion.These shoes look and feel great.

Love my Tretorns! These have a comfy right green foam insert that keep your feet from getting sweaty, nasty and smelly if you go barefoot in them. They are also made in such a way that they can be squashed down in the bottom of the suitcase and it won't harm them at all. Wonderful summer shoes! I am so pleased with mine! Will likely be buying in the future when mine wear out. The only thing I was a little sad about is that the there is a logo on the back heel part of the sole and the red square that frames it wares off at the bottom as you wear these. It is just so near the bottom of the shoe that it can't last. Definitely not a huge deal to me as it's not very noticeable, but I think it will look better if that didn't happen. Also, I have worn these shoes all summer and the corners of my soles where my foot bends as I walk have not separated at all from the canvas of the shoes. I think these are made very well. For size reference, I am a woman and I usually wear size 6 in women's shoes. I got a size 4 in the dark navy. They fit perfectly!

They definitely look a bit cheaper than some of the nicer boat shoes but they also handle water better as well. I flooded my laundry room (long story) and these got soaked in soapy, slightly moldy, water and have 24 hours they were completely dry and smelt great. Speaking of smelling great, I wear them all the time without socks and never once has my sweaty feet caused the shoes to smell.There are some boat shoes I'd throw on for a nice dinner along the coast but these are not them. These shoes are much better suited as a replacement for sandals. But that's not why I gave them 4 stars. They have no arch support at all, and if you have high arches don't expect to wear these for long periods of time or for long walks on the beach.

My son had on a pair of these and I asked if I could try them on. (He and I wear the same size.) I liked them immediately and went to Amazon and bought a pair. Out of the box, I wore them for 3 hours with no socks. I knew the shoes had little arch support, but the insole is removable. I can and do wear them with the original insole (very comfortable) around the house. When I take a long walk, I replace the insole with a high arch insole that I own (and use in my golf shoes). I get the support I need and walk, walk, walk...As an fyi, I had plantar faciitis about 5 years ago which I think I got from walking 18 holes in an old pair of golf shoes. I'm probably over cautious about arch and heel support now because I don't want the affliction again.

Super comfortable, much cooler looking vs the traditional boat shoes you see 95%of people wearing. Very light as they should be, would not look right with socks in my opinion and there are rubber grippy dots that are comfortable and funtional. I wear 12 in 95 % of shoes 11.5 fits fine. If you are on border go half size down is my advice. Grey is great color and came with2 color choices on.laces. This is quality shoe brand vs many of the "surf" brands who make nice tee shirts and flip flops but fail on this type of shoe

I knew this was a unisex show but I couldn't tell if the sizes shown to order were mens or womens, especially seeing as how I viewed the item after searching in the women's shoes page. I contacted customer service twice to ask them and both times they said they had no idea. So I took a chance and ordered my usual women's size (actually half a size lower because the reviews said they were big). Finally got them in and....they were huge. Like falling off my feet huge. Definitely men's sizing!! So now they will be returned. Pretty disappointed because other than that the shoe is really nice and seemed comfy and I want to wear them!

They have a great look and you really can't beat the price. These certainly aren't for hiking or any kind of long term walking, but they sure are neat looking. Great for style and comfortable enough. Cheap as dirt so not much to complain about. Feet hurt after awhile, but shoes aren't something to make a habit of cheaping out on.

Size runs one,whole size too big for women.Pros: light and soft sole. It almost feels like a gel sole. Soft but durable material. Actually looks better quality than more expensive shoes. Inside is soft enough so you don't have to wear socks.Cons: zero arch support, none. A size too big for women.After I buy a arch support insole I'll be very satisfied with this shoe.

Bought these shoes for my husband. They look GREAT and made of excellent quality. Unfortunately they were too small even though we ordered based on the sizing chart, but they fit me perfectly. I was very tempted to keep them myself! Definitely a great unisex shoe - very comfy and stylish. Just make sure you order a size up.
