This puppet is awesome. It looks great, feels sturdy and appears to be stitched fairly well. It is ready to use right out of the box and comes with a long stick that has Velcro attached at one end which can be positioned into either paw so arm and paw movement can be simulated. When I first took the puppet out of the box and put it on my hand, my 2 yr old daughter was a bit nervous but her curiosity took over and within a few minutes she was laughing and beaming all over the place. We've only had it for a few days and she has recently started trying to operate the puppet herself.One caveat is that it doesn't appear to be fitted for adult hands... it's a little difficult to operate the mouth with my hand, but I can still do it - just takes some effort. A child's hand would be a better fit.I paid about 14 dollars for this puppet and it is worth the price. They appear to be so well made that if you were to buy a collection and took care of them, they could become inexpensive, sentimental heirlooms! This item is a must have ... I think most children would love it!

Our 14 year old daughter uses this and it works great. High quality, looks exactly like the pictures. It's almost Jim Henson quality, right down to the construction of the mouth. The stick is solid and attaches perfectly with strong velcro. Super easy to take off and reattach. Would purchase again.
