Work fine but...
Better than phone for navigation, works where cell service is an issue. The 'but' is that you should get a charger that uses the old style mini USB plug and charge it up before your first use. On mine, the battery was flat when it arrived and I had to leave it on the charger for hours and hours before it work up and started to take a charge - Li-Ion batteries can do that after long storage.

would not power up
After trying to charge the unt overnight it would not power on without being plugged in and while plugged in would shut down after the splash screen came up. Acted like there was no battery or battery was no good. Would not recommend.

Good value
Outstanding customer support. Purchased for traveling. I have found it is better for trips to have a stand alone gps. I look forward to using this soon.

Too dated
Does not continuously update new streets or new roads.

Does NOT come with lifetime US maps
Has lifetime maps of Europe, not US. Garmin wants $90 to add lifetime maps. Very frustrating and inconvenient.
