K&N 57S-9501 Washable and Reusable Car Performance Intake Kit

It was a bit of a tight fit into the intake box, but with a few Strategically placed screws,It worked and is working perfectly, and as expected 💪👍

I had another aftermarket intake kit on previously - but it was far too noisy ( for me at least ) so I grabbed this went it was on offer - very happy with noise levels and also throttle response and fuel economy. Why am I only giving 4 stars? The instructions were next to useless and the overall fit of the airbox isnt fantastic - but it would not stop me buying another.

Likes:- Improved throttle response- Better low end torque- Maybe a few extra horses...Dislike:- Poor fitment of the metal intake tube and air box. As others have mentioned, it needs to be shortened by a centimeter or two. I'm not able to use the existing factory bolt to screw down the K&N aftermarket air box without greatly twisting and distorting the air box which makes it impossible to install the air box cover. I only have the air box sitting on the two rubber grommet posts like the factory one does. I may have to fabricate my own bracket to screw down the air box.- The metal intake tube doesn't have a secure method to be fixed to the air box. It's only held in place by friction between the metal tube and the huge rubber grommet for the air box. There is not a method to clamp and guarantee that the metal tube will not eventually come out of the air box due to vibrations in my opinion.My car is a 2011 B7 VW Passat Estate with the CFFB 2.0L TDI engine.If I had to do it all over again, I'd probably go with another solution or brand, or just use the factory air box and use a K&N Air Filter. I hope this helps others make an informed decision.

With the lid off, driving sounds great, especially turbo whoosh on changing up.A bit fiddly to fit (the vast majority of which was difficulty getting the original factory airbox out) and personally I wish it didn’t use the original factory intake as this gets in the way of the new air box.Once fitted properly though, it seems good. Make sure the metal intake pipe is securely pushed into the gromit in the air box, otherwise it can easily come loose and gets too hot sitting next to the engine.

I've installed this to a 2011 Audi TT and im really happy with it. The install was easy and it's great to hear the engine breathing properly! There also seems to be a performance increase. I'm running it with the cover off for maximum air flow and the cold air intake is coming up from the fresh air scoop by the fog lights directly to the filter.

Item was advertised as used, description stated new with minor marks on top and side but when I opened the box everything was in 100% perfect condition. Saves over £200 so I was extremely happy with the item. Sounds good with a slight increase in power with my vehicle being modified it just adds the finishing touch

Not a great fit on Skoda Octavia TDI VRS MK2 FL, as there seems to be a bit of pressure due to a tight fit with the metal pipe. This causes the box to be slightly distorted, causing only 3 of the 4 screw of the lid to be fitted. However, performance is brilliant. I won't advise cover to be left off, as the whooshing noise is quite loud.

Got this for my 2012 vrs TDI it takes a bit of modification to get a proper fit as the pipe between the new airbox and maf is slightly to long and puts a lot of pressure on the airbox making it impossible to get all the mount's lined up properly but easily solved by cutting a few centimetres off the connector pipe.

Qualité du produit médiocre à mon goût pour la renommée KN et surtout vu le tarif! Durite entre débimètre et boite à air trop longue, faut couper de deux centimètres, c'est pas normal...nul de la part du fabricant!!!

Previously purchased several K&N cold air induction products and they were very nice and good quality. This item was disappointing, poor to fair quality, poor fitment and very poor instructions.

Estaría bien mejorar la toma de aire del exterior con alguna tobera en forma de embudo y la entrada ala caja con algún anclaje fijo y a 90grados,el resto bastante bien.

le tube métallique s'enlève de la boite à filtre lors de l'accélération (le moteur bouge). Il n'y a pas de système de retenue.-> renvoi à l'expediteur.J'ai choisi la version filtre sport dans la boite d'origine :-/
