I'm not sure why my dad always needs to take something out in the dark in his slippers, but he does. So this is great to help him not fall in a ditch.Also would be fantastic for dog walkers, campers etc.I was surprised by the quality of the fabric of the hat which is soft, thick and feels really quite luxurious compared to other similarly priced hats. The colour is really nice too - as pictured.The light is much brighter than I expected - which is great - but because its lots of LEDS its somehow not too blinding.It recharges by popping the torch element out and plugging it in by USB - really straight forward. The battery life so far seems really good.I fact it was such a hit that I bought one for my mum too (light blue - very elegant).

Dad loves it for cycling and when in the shed or under the car. Light has usb which can be charged easily goes red to green when fully charged and doesn't take long to charge. Hat itself is well made and thick keeps him warm.
