This species of cinnamon, which is not at all easy to find in regular shops, is the one that contains far more of the beneficial components (like chromium, which helps with blood glucose balance) and far less of the coumadin that can be potentially toxic in high levels. It's less "spicy" than regular cinnamon (which is cassia cinnamon, also called Saigon cinnamon or Vietnamese cinnamon); it has a softer, subtler version of that classic cinnamon flavour and goes so well with the typical chai spices (ginger, cardamom, cloves, black pepper, coriander powder) without overpowering them. This 500 gram package is a lot of cinnamon (!) but not too much (for me at least, as one person, a whole kilo while cheaper would have been too much to stay fresh); if you're using a spoonful or so per day in a shake or hot drink, and a bit more on veggies or protein here and there, it actually goes down surprisingly quickly. And you can use quite a lot without having to worry about the coumadin, and (as already mentioned), the taste is subtly warming and not overpowering. Really happy with this purchase and grateful that it's readily available like this while so hard to find on the high street.

Excellent quality cinnamon - mixes well into morning porridge / overnight oats. Gorgeous smell and very smooth texture. Good value for money. Bought for health benefits - glad I made the change.

I loved the taste of this one, but not felt great on it, even though the ingredients are in big letters,I hadn't read them, when I did I found it has sugars. It doesn't say if its natural from the cinnamon bark or wether it's added.

Cheap, as 500g but too powdery & hardly any smell or taste & not sweetness. I would Go for Srilanca organic 300 g, different make slightly more, but difference like chalk & cheese

Zimt ist enttäuschend. Kein Aroma, keine typische Zimtschärfe. Mindesthaltbarkeitsdatum nicht angegeben, vermutlich ist der Zimt über Verfallsdatum

Je l'utilise pour mes porridges et mes compotes fait maison,elle a une saveur douce et légèrement sucrée. Avec mon problème digestif, elle réduit un peu les ballonnements.en tout cas elle est à privilégier pour un usage quotidien.
