ShanWan Mobile Game Controller for iphone/Android with PHONE CASE Support, Bluetooth Wireless Gamepad - PS Remote Play, Xbox Cloud, Steam Link, GeForce NOW, MFi Arcade Games-Long Battery Life

I consider myself a casual gamer. I enjoy playing games but I don't put more emphasis on frame rates and hardware than I do on the game play itself. However, that being said, I think this controller is just awesome! After several weeks and many hours of using it, it has worked perfectly every time! It makes me feel like I have a dedicated console when using my phone. But it's better than a console since I can still use my phone for what I typically use my phone for. This controller is marketed as being designed for an iPhone but I have never used it for that. I only have an android phone and I have been able to use it with my android phone with no problems. So, what's good? I have successfully used this controller with various android games (just be aware that not every android games supports controllers but the ones that do, this one has worked every time). Besides that, I have used it with Xbox Game Pass, Nvidia GeForce Now, and SteamLink. I have also used it as a regular controller by pairing it up to my Chromebook (without my phone in the controller holder, obviously) to play those same things and by pairing to my computer via Bluetooth to play various games I own on Steam. It's worked great at everything I've thrown at it, no issues. The Bluetooth name for the controller is "Xbox Wireless Controller". I would assume that all the systems recognize it as an official Xbox controller and that it uses the Xbox controller drivers but I have not reviewed to confirm that since I haven't had any issues, it just works. I like that the buttons are backlit so that I can play in the dark if I want to. It charges with a USB-c cable which is perfect since that is what my phone and Chromebook use as well (I like not having to use so many different cables). The battery life is great. I don't know how many hours I got before I needed a charge but it is advertised as having 25+ hours of battery life and that seems pretty accurate. So, what could be better? The controller is very lightweight. It almost feels a little too light. It would have a more premium feel if it was a bit heaver. But, when used with my phone, the added weight of my phone makes the whole thing feel solid. So, it's fine. The backlit keys can be a little bright at night. So, it would be nice if it was possible to dim those a bit when I wanted to. The controller covers the charging port for my phone when in use. So, if the battery is low on my phone, I can't charge my phone and use this controller at the same time. That's really not a problem since my phone has plenty of battery life and my phone has fast charging capability. But it would be pretty cool if there was some sort of pass-through charging that the controller could do (the best kind in my opinion would be some sort of wireless QI charging so you didn't have to worry about types and locations of connections for various types of phones). It would be nice if the gamepad had vibration feedback (or rumble motors) but that would diminish the battery life and none of the other gamepads I use have that feature, so it’s not a big deal for me. Overall, I’d give this controller a 5/5 score. It’s awesome! There are a few things that could be better and you can find some of those features in more expensive game pads. But those aren’t super important factors for me.

I like this controller! I've been using my phone for many different games and some of the games are very hard to play without a controller. This turns your phone into basically a controller. The app is simple to install and it works very well. I use it on Minecraft with my iphone 13 The quality is great it feels good not too big not too small and the controls are right where you need them to easily maneuver as needed

Been using this almost daily for a few weeks now. This is my first experience using a cradle-style mobile controller. Previously I've used an Xbox controller with one of those clamps attached to it, and I have to say that this Shanwan is much better. All of the buttons, triggers, and sticks are perfectly responsive with no delay or drift. The thing must've come fully charged because I hadn't needed to charge it all until today, weeks after purchase. I use it to play GTA Liberty City Stories and Ara Fell, a 16-bit JRPG, and the functionality is flawless. Pairing with my iphone 16 was fast and effortless. I don't know how it compares to something like a Backbone but with four mappable rear buttons it's got a leg up over that product for sure. The ONLY reason I'm giving it a four instead of a five is because the menu buttons and pair button are set flush against the shell, and there's almost no tactile or audible feedback to pressing them. I have to look to make sure I'm pressing the right button. There's also no headphone jack, obviously, since the controller doesn't physically connect to your phone. For something that's a third of the price of a Backbone and comes with extra buttons it's a solid choice overall and I strongly recommend i!

I’m a techy dad, but my gaming days are behind me. I did grab this for the kiddos. The controller pairs and works well with IOS or android. I tried it in an iPhone, Moto phone and Samsung tablet. I issues on any of the devices. In theory, it just a Bluetooth controller and should work with any device that can use a Bluetooth controller, like laptops, etc. Initial connection was fast and easy. Reconnection was automatic. No delay in gaming experience. Battery life is good. We’re the type to charge when done using so it hasn’t run out on anyone yet. Build quality seems good. It feels light, but help up to light stress testing. It’s not string, but should hold up fine unless you really treat it bad. No drift in the joysticks either. I did have some issues with button alignment for certain games, but it was easy enough to program. Kids like it too as it makes playing games easier. Overall happy with this purchase.

Les commandes sont réactive et pour un téléphone, cela est un réel changement quand on a les mains moites comme moi 😅 Pour la taille, j'ai un Xiaomi 9t pro d'une grande taille et aucun problème pour le fixer, au contraire il tient très bien en place. 📄Bilan : Fait ce que l'on demande d'elle, cette manette au look "gaming" et épurée est parfaite pour ceux voulant un peu changer leur façon de jouer aux jeux sur téléphone. La matière fait plastique mais cela permet de gagner en légèreté. Un gros plus, pour le prix je ne regrette pas mon achat 👍

Il ShanWan Controller Android è un accessorio eccellente per il gaming mobile. Il design è funzionale e i materiali, sebbene un po' plasticosi, rendono la presa comoda. La configurazione è estremamente semplice e la mappatura dei pulsanti è intuitiva. L'esperienza di gioco è ottima: gli analogici regolabili offrono un controllo preciso e non si riscontra alcun lag. Il controller funziona perfettamente anche con i servizi di cloud gaming. Ich habe den ShanWan Controller mit Bluetooth-Unterstützung getestet und bin größtenteils sehr zufrieden. Ich vergebe 4 Sterne für diese Gaming-Peripherie, die mit ihrer kabellosen Bluetooth-Verbindung und anderen tollen Funktionen überzeugt. Die Einrichtung des Controllers war sehr einfach. Die Bluetooth-Verbindung funktionierte einwandfrei und ich konnte schnell in meine Spiele eintauchen, ohne durch Kabel behindert zu werden. Die Verbindung blieb stabil und ich konnte eine geringe Verzögerung feststellen, was für ein flüssiges Spielerlebnis sorgte. Die Ergonomie des Controllers ist gut durchdacht. Er liegt gut in der Hand und die Tasten sind leicht zu erreichen. Die Druckpunkte der Tasten sind angenehm und die Analogsticks bieten eine ausreichende Präzision. Auch bei längerem Spielen blieb der Controller bequem in der Hand und führte nicht zu Ermüdungserscheinungen. Positiv überrascht hat mich die Akkulaufzeit. Auch bei längeren Spielsessions hielt der Akku recht lange durch. Das ist definitiv ein Pluspunkt für alle, die gerne stundenlang spielen. Auch die Ladezeit war akzeptabel und der Akku hielt, was er versprach. Die Kompatibilität des Controllers ist ziemlich groß. Ich konnte ihn problemlos mit verschiedenen Geräten wie PC, Tablet und Smartphone verwenden. Das gab mir die Freiheit, meine Spiele auf verschiedenen Plattformen zu genießen. Insgesamt bin ich mit dem ShanWan-Controller mit Bluetooth-Unterstützung zufrieden und gebe ihm 4 Sterne. Die kabellose Verbindung, die komfortable Ergonomie, die solide Akkulaufzeit und die vielseitige Kompatibilität machen ihn zu einer empfehlenswerten Wahl für Gamer, die einen erschwinglichen und dennoch leistungsstarken Controller suchen.
