**updated post after 72hours** I have been giving the recommended dose to my pregnant cat as well as my 6 month old kitten. My kitten is still super healthy, and the pregnant stray cat I brought indoors after being on this for 72hours is TONS BETTER!! She does still have minor nose discharge but we are keeping that clean with baby infant nasal mist, her discharge is no longer green anymore thankfully! She seems to be most the way past this sickness and with no history on her whatsoever it’s hard to know how long she was sick but when I took her in she was pretty bad off. This stuff is incredible! I am buying more. I will add as well, my kitten will be sleeping and I put a dab of this on my finger and put it front of her nose while she sleeps, she can’t wake up fast enough to eat it off my finger LOL! Pregnant kitty actually enjoys it now as well since she can smell again, she laps it right up off my finger and wants more and more (of course we are not doing that, however she seems to think more is better) very happy and satisfied with this product! As long as it continues to work we will continue to buy and I will continue to keep this post updated! I took in a stray pregnant cat that no one was wanting to help. She has a UTI and is really struggling, vets are so outrageously overpriced I did some research and found this for her. For starters her nose is clogged so she can’t smell it and therefore has no interest in it, but I still take the recrommended dosing and put it just UNDER her nose but above her mouth so she is forced to lick it and swallow it. That has been working for us very well, my young kitten (6months old) I have, is also getting this to keep her from getting sick and she absolutely loves this! We are on day 1 1/2 of this giving to the stray kitty and I do notice a decrease in her symptoms thankfully! I also use infant baby nasal mist to attempt to keep her nose clear much as I can without stressing her out more then she needs to be right now. I gave this 4 stars because I’m not certain if it’s this or the baby nasal mist that is helping the most yet. I am also using a humidifier to help that congestion break up. I will come back in a couple weeks with an update of this stuff, to say if it actually works but for now I’m giving it 4 stars until I can confirm it works. Side note her eyes are not goopy anymore and when I first brought her inside, her eyes were pretty gross. I have not touched her eyes at all so I know this is at least working for that.

Though she can only have it twice a day, this is now my cat's favorite TREAT! She is absolutely obsessed with the flavor! So: Kitty Approved. As for the human's opinion, I CAN say I've seen a noticeable difference. Before: she was lethargic and losing weight rapidly, which the vet suggested was due to her inability to smell after months of sneezing and congestion with no apparent cause beyond 'allergies'. I could hear her nose whistling with every breath and I was fearful we were at the end of my precious cat's time here. After: since starting her on 'Felisyl L-Lysine Gel' she's completely turned around. I haven't heard the wheeze/whistle and she's eating regularly, including demanding 'cookies' (aka crunchy treats). Her weight is back to normal and she's more alert! I HIGHLY recommend giving this a try if your cat is suffering with respiratory issues!

So far, I am pleased with this Lysine gel for my Ragdoll Kitty. I got it because my kitty was suffering from red, irritated eyes with an occasional sniffle / sneeze. I decided to try and treat this internally rather than dealing with eye drops for this problem in her eyes since it would cause her stress and it is topical so the problem would probably continue without keeping that daily regimen up. I needed something systemic and more favorable to my kitty and she is treats and food driven. I was concerned a bit with some of the reviews dealing with quality control and I am happy to say that all is perfect. It smells great, and my cat loves it. She goes for it with the gusto of eating a Churu. She has only had several doses, but I can already see improvement in the redness in the whites of her eyes. I am so happy. Happy cat, happy life. I started on the minimum dose of 1/8th tsp twice a day and I wait to give it to her on a full stomach to avoid some of the digestive upset that can occur as a side effect. The amount you get in the tube is very affordable compared to others in oral drops or other powders and gels that are super expensive on dosing average. I also felt confident to purchase Felisyl due to it receiving the seal of approval from the NASC and believe it or not, during my research of Lysine products, it is even recognized under Good RX for its health benefits and prevention maintenance for my beloved feline along with several other vet formulated lysine products, but they were double to triple the purchase price. Very happy with my decision and hoping she continues to improve in her health, allergies and keeping her immune system well and strong. This product is so much cheaper than a Vet bill or repeat visits because the symptoms are only treated instead of trying to clear the underlying condition that this gel or more like a paste actually does for her internally and systemically. Allergies begone.

This stuff seems great! In just three days, a kitten who had one leaky eye closed, and another who was the worst off with crusted-over closed eyes and mucus oozing out the eyes and nose, were able to eat, drink, explore and groom themselves again! That first one looks, and acts, normal but I’m still administering the medicine to them and they love the taste. The second is making great recovery towards eating dry kibble on their own, and drinking water, but makes a fuss over ingesting the medicine, so I have to scoop some onto my finger, gently coax their mouth open while holding them in place by the scruff, and line their tongue with it. This one also turns away from eating canned food, now, which were never a problem before the upper respiratory issues occurred. The positives about this supplement are it seems to have a fantastically—almost—irresistible flavor cats and kittens love; it’s easy to squeeze out; finger-feeding isn’t difficult, just tedious. This product is quite creamy, with a teeny-tiny bit of stiffness similar to something like mayo; it’s not runny, until reaching its last few remnants that more so “sneeze” out of the tube rather than glide on like normal.🤣 The negatives lie within the instructions—in the sense that you’re supposed to give a certain amount, twice, daily for three to four weeks…with only five ounces of product!🤣 I bought this four days ago and practically ran into fumes by morning of that fourth day!🤣🤣 Of course, I’ve also been handing out dosages to about five outdoor-only cats (with those in the roughest shapes, who won’t lick the product off the spoon, temporarily brought indoors for the finger-feeding)! Even for someone not giving this supplement to multiple kitties who started getting the sniffles, sneezies, and the watery eye goop that kept them shut, this stuff still wouldn’t last the expected three to four weeks! Counting the dosages given daily, there have only been about 16 total, in that tube. If a single cat were receiving the recommended two servings a day, I guesstimate that would only last a little over two weeks—defffffinitely not reaching the three, let alone four, week expectation…which is a brilliant marketing strategy haha. And it worked, because I just ordered a second tube—but I am also exploring other options, and will likely leave the gel usage for those who refuse to lick it off a spoon, or any dab to their nose, and must be finger-fed. I’ve also been using it in conjunction with a high calorie supplement for those with the lowest energy, and had the scraggliest looks. Both supplements, together, are doing well! Overall, this product was perfect for my “Oh no! I need L-Lysine, fast!” situation, and has been showing results! They certainly haven’t been instant, but observing that kitten who was the absolute worst off, out of the rest of the stray colony, gradually perk up in the beginning stages of returning to normal gives a little relief that something MUST be working. They can open both eyes about halfway, now! My only gripe is, I wish this tube were at least triple its size—for the same price!🤣

My cats like the taste and it helps with their sniffles and occasional runny eyes, also helps with hairballs too. I only apply a tiny bit, the size of a pea on one paw because if too much is applied it will give them a loose stool. I use on my cats once a week only. Works well, cats feel better.

My biggest question when looking at reviews for this was do other cats like it and did it actually work? I’ll start by saying my cats love this and come running when they hear me open the cap. They think of it as a treat. Long story short, my indoor cat snuck out and came home with URI and got everyone sick. I took my 3 cats to the vet and they “prescribed” them a bottle of Enysil-F and super over priced and other meds. While googling all the medications they got and and what each one was for I found out Enysil-F is sold by Amazon and no prescription was needed and for only 1/4 of the price the vet sold it to me for so I bought it religiously because it definitely worked and improved their health but my biggest problem was I’d have to force feed my cats, they hated the taste and gagged. It was a battle and it was getting pricy for having multiple cats. I randomly saw this under suggested and was a little skeptical about switching over due to pricing. I assumed it wouldn’t be as great of quality and perhaps not work as well but I was wrong. It helps my cats eye bogies and his stuffy nose and breathing has improved. We are definitely getting value for our money and it’s improved their health and cost less than Enysil-F with the same results but better because my cats love it. Note to add this bottle has more gel than the Enysil-F and it’s more affordable. My cats will need these vitamins for the rest of their life for eye boogies and it makes me feel better that I won’t have to fight them daily to take their gel vitamins anymore.

**Edit** I ordered some from Chewy because I trust them and they accept returns but sadly it is the same product that has been changed. Only one ingredient is missing, but removing it wouldn't cause it to smell spoiled and noxious. The company must be hiding something in the ingredients. So sad because not only did my cat love this product but it worked wonders. I'm glad I can return the tube to Chewy. This is one of my cat's favorite things, but I just opened the two pack that I just ordered, and it is not expired, but I feel bad for her because she almost ate it and then ran out of the room, so she had her face and nose up to it. It smells like it is spoiled or something. Like vinegar. I bought the two pack because she likes it so much. I opened the second one and it smells the same way. I doubt I can even get a refund or replacement. I do not want a replacement if it smells like this now. I had a severe allergic reaction to it as well. I had the product on my finger, which is now I always dispense it, and I smelled it twice. I had to take antihistamines and use a epinephrine inhaler because of whatever is in this or whatever is wrong with it. Change it back!! Why isn't this on your website??? Seems fishy. And I don't want the treats.

The gel smells really plasticy/strong but not in a good way. And I think that's why my cat won't touch it. She takes one sniff and turns her nose up at it lol I put a dollop on her nose to lick off and it doesn't taste good enough for her either. Well it was worth a shot 😂
