Excellent book for AWS solution architect and overall for all AWS cloud developers or software engineers.The concepts of various services is in depth explained and in great detail with examples.. Waiting for the 3rd edition to be published in Aug. 2025.

I really enjoyed this book and find it very helpful. In my role as an IT Architect, I've spent most of my career working with packaged software in on-prem environments. This book is a great primer on AWS, and explains also a lot of the application architecture methodology that underpins the services that AWS is offering now. It also has a good mix of screenshots and "showing you things" and technical theory and explanation. I also found the last chapter (hands on) very helpful, and a key part of the learning experience. That said, there are some errors in that chapter. Nothing I couldn't figure out and work through, but just be aware. Overall though, very happy with the purchase and definitely recommend it.
