Fantastic light for filmmaking
Fantastic light for filmmaking, at shutter speeds of 1/48 , 1/50 and 180 shutter angle there is no flicker and very little banding. The light produces lovely skin tones with a slight magenta tint but this is works well surprisingly. I have four of these bulbs in one unit and is more than enough to flood an entire room with a nice soft lighting. Individually they work well if you have one possible two subjects (people). The quality of the bulbs is far better than the ones given to you when you buy cheap soft boxes.

Perfect for artist studio
I purchased this bulb to light up my painting art studio. I use it on a tripod together with white photography studio umbrella to diffuse the light. It gives perfect amount of light to see all the details of my paintings. It lights up all my studio, so I am able to see not only the canvas I am working on, but everything else around, for example my palette. I am happy I didn't purchase one of those spot lights that are sold as special artist lights. The colours are also very accurate. This is one of those things you get and think... how I used to live before without it! Never been happier with a light bulb. Perfect imitation of daylight. It creates a feel good atmosphere. Also it is true to other comments, it is a monster size and you will be amazed first time you open it!

Great bulb
Solidly made, bright and gives good colour (tiny bit cool but not much). Taking a risk that it will last somewhere near it's promised hours of operation and giving it 5 stars.

Studio Lighting Bulbs 85W
These are excellent bulbs and are very useful in several different ways. They are quite bulky and one would have to be careful when handling them. A very good product
