Helps to clean teeth
I think these are great. Took my labrador 10 minutes to finish it against 30 seconds with other dental chews. Definitely worth money I think.

Does seem to clean teeth better than most so called dental chews
Does seem to clean teeth better than most so called dental chews. I have had (or rather my dog has!) some very unpleasant upset digestive symptoms with the well known brand of dental chew. I now buy this and they keep him quiet on car journeys as well as cleaning his teeth!

Dog chews
Rather expensive but dog loves them

Does the job
My dog loves these. They were recommended by the vet as a better, more effective alternative to Dentastix as these actually take him a good half hour to chew through so giving his teeth the cleaning they need. It also gives us longer peace and quiet in the evenings!NOV 2016ADDED NEW COMMENTS have used these for a while and stand by previous comments. However, I am now very unhappy and unlikely to now reorder for the following reasons:1. Medium pack states Pack of 14; actual packaging states 14 is an average number so I would expect between 12 to 15, NOT 7 which is what I have in my last two packs.2. What on earth has happened to your quality control???? Some are thin, paper-like and tiny. Others huge and up to 3-4mm thick would take a dog far bigger than mine a whole evening to get thru...if not all day! Absolutely no consistency in the product.Very disappointed, these are not cheap items and I value them for giving my dogs teeth a good clean but I'm afraid until these problems are sorted, I shan't be buying any more.

Cleans dogs teeth
Great for whippets and other medium sized dogs. Tried one with next door's labrador and it nearly choked, the greedy bugger. It says there should be 14 in a pack but I quite often get around 18 - 20, though some of them are thin so I assume it must go by weight. A couple of them are also very thick which the dog gets bored with and leaves them in odd places for me to find or sometimes I take off her because the constance chewing irritates the hell out of me and I have to give her a thin one instead. It does clean her teeth though. She had a problem with tartar before I started her on these, but now it has mostly gone. I would also recommend Good Boy Chomp Stix as an evening treat.

Worth Every Penny
These are great - clearly more expensive than other "mainstream" dental chews but you get what you pay for; these chews last a long time, long enough to actually clean our dogs teeth and appear to contain ingredients that are aimed at cleaning, not just relying on the shape of the chew as other brands do. As the owner of 3 dogs who hate having their teeth brushed, this is a good alternative

A danger to dogs and Logic should withdraw these from sale - DON'T BUY RAWHIDE STRIPS OR KNOTS
DO NOT BUY THESE OR ANY RAWHIDE CHEWS FOR YOUR DOGS (other than sticks made up of tiny minced up bits)! I think I must've been on autopilot when I ordered these. Had I read the details thoroughly and clocked the picture I'd have realised they were flat, wide strips of rawhide coated with a tooth friendly coating. I'd have then avoided them like the plague. Somehow my brain told me to expect a more professional dog-friendly design of chew so I opened the pack and its inner bag so I can't send it back for a refund. The pack has hit my various recycling and general waste bins. So these are basically highly overpriced rawhide strips with a coating. Secondly, rawhide treats like these (this time marketed as being a great item for teeth by a respected company) start off hard but get very slimy and soft as a dog chews them but they don't rapidly break down into small bits. From previous experience (many, many years ago) I gave similar strips to my two dogs. One coped with them as he approached the task methodically and did manage to get the strip into smaller pieces. The other dog continued chewing the now softened strip by getting it completely into his mouth. Not a great idea as it was slipping partway down his throat as he tried to mash it to pieces by waggling it between his teeth using his tongue! Due to the worrying sounds coming from him I had to step in and remove it as he was in danger of choking on it. That was the end of any rawhide chews other than the small sticks of minced rawhide which can be chomped into time pieces very easily. Additionally the strips can cause blockages internally. There are lots of things I don't like about them.

Good but not suitable for my houndrel! See my updated review, though.
It’s a great idea but I’m afraid it’s the gel only for my long snouted 50/50 greyhound whippet. His teeth are made far more for nipping and catching than crushing with molars. He likes the taste but has only managed one so far. He usually has a different kind of dogtooth chew.I’ve come back to edit, and add a star. If your houndrel with a long snout struggles with these, try the ones for smaller dogs. Those and logic gel gives my old boy a Hollywood look. The logic gel is a great favourite and recommended by my vet. I’m happy enough with that, and my houndrel has no complaints on getting both on his gnashers.
