Amazing! Lovely! Perfect!
Have been experimenting with cargos fills snd batters. My fave so far was a phillie cheese fill in a Kodiak Batter. Some tips:-mix batter very well. No lumps.-use a ziplock freezer bag or the like to “pipe” the batter. It’s easier to control and work with!-thicker batter is easier to fill and control. To get the most filling in the middle, take thick batter in a piping tube (or ziploc freezer bag, cut the corner just a bit and squeeze the batter out like icing). And pipe the batter into the iron!Start by piping the very bottom of the iron and covering it completely with as thin a layer of batter as you can, then start building up the sides, by piping in a circle around the edge of iron, trying to kind of pipe on top of the batter you already put down, and build up the wall of the waffle.Put in your filling. Lots of it!Then pipe out a top layer of batter, close and flip! For Kodiak batter, I suggest cooking it for at least 10 minutes after closing, to avoid uncooked batter. For other brand of normal batter, I suggest 7-8 minutes.

Excellent waffles every time! So far, this has exceeded my expectations!
We’ve had waffles four times since opening the box. Sweet, with strawberries, or bananas & chocolate chips, and savory with eggs & sausage. Every time they come out perfect, which is an accomplishment for me! Cooking time is between 6-7 minutes, follow the suggestions for amount of batter. I do put in quite a bit more than 2 tablespoons of filling, and all is delicious! We use Kodiak Whole Grain Mix- lots of flavors to try. Very happy with this purchase!

Good, but could be great.
Saw a YouTube short about this item and I took a chance. Good product but really needs a temp setting and timer. Items do not come out as brown as I would like or even a crispy outer shell. This is where thr temp setting comes in. I feel like it doesn't get hot enough on the top even after sitting for 15 minutes before using. The bottom browns pretty well, the top does not. I have even tried filling it upside down and same results. Things are cooked but just doesn't look as if it is. Might be defective but just outside of return window. May contact company about it.

Nifty
This works perfect. We have only used a few times. We made sausage and gravy stuffed waffles, and various fruit & nut stuffed waffles. If you like one use kitchen gadgets this is fun but it's just sitting on a shelf in the pantry 10 months after purchase.

Makes thick Belgian waffles with great texture
I love Belgian waffles and travel full time in an RV. This small applaince makes robust, 2" thick waffles that are on par with frozen ones I've bought for years. I'm going to try the yeast recipe next. which I think will give them a lighter texture. Thank you Chefman!

Takes a tiny bit of practice, but...
I gave it 4 stars on the temperature control. On one hand, you can't control the temperature by anything more than stopping it early or keeping it on later. On the other hand, I felt that you really didn't need a...slider, so to speak, especially when you run the risk of having undercooked waffles for how thick this beast makes.I made the first waffle according to the directions, with a mixture of 1 tablespoon of Nutella and 1 tablespoon of raspberry preserves. We discovered that it would have been better with one or the other, with the odd one out spread on top, as Nutella is realistically too hard to spread. Also, we discovered that 7 minutes wasn't quite enough time to firm up.The second waffle was made with a mixture of guava jelly and strawberry preserves. For this one I added too much batter on the second half and was able to clean the excess that even escaped the trap quickly and efficiently. I left it in for 8 minutes and it came out crispy and perfect. My third waffle was just straight-up Nutella. I microwaved it for about 20 seconds to make it more pliable and was able to make the waffle perfect. We discovered that for the stuffing we were using, 8 minutes is a great time frame. All in all, a great purchase, especially for the price. I'm looking forward to trying shredded chicken, and possibly sausage gravy in the future.

Not Great for Stuffing as Advertised
This product make cute little waffles. My husband purchased this because it had the abilility to put a stuffing beween the two layers. Very small area to put something and it doesn't always cook the waffle inside and stuffing as stated in their description.

My kids ask for them all the time now!
I don't do a lot of reviews but this thing is awesome. I wind up making a dozen sandwiches and freeze them to defrost for a quick breakfast option for everyone. We've done egg and cheese (with different meats), banana and nutella, peanut butter and jelly, sugared blueberries and cream cheese (tastes like a cheesecake) and we are having fun constantly experimenting with new recipes. It's a great option to have for those who like to cook and it's so easy to use!***We used maple sugar in our pancake batter and it was a game changer - have fun with this thing!!!
