Useful, though some strange choices, and the screw is hard to open/close
I'll say upfront, I am not an experienced uke player. That said, I find these chord cards really useful most of the time, but occasionally when I go looking for a chord I thought I knew, the fingering it gives me makes me do this face 8-o Several times, it's turned out the fingering given is not the most simple variant of the chord. It would make sense to me to use the easy/common variant on an item which I assume is aimed at the less experienced.I had thoughts of rejigging this so all the chords I most need to know/remember are together at the beginning of the stack, but the screw that holds them together is a little recalcitrant, and so I'm not sure how amenable they are to being adjusted for taste. All this said, they're useful and helpful and I'd say they were a good investment for the beginner uke player.

Must Have Ukelele Case Candy
This little book (85 mm wide, 30 deep, 24 mm high) contains more ukelele chords than any player is likely to remember. It was the first thing I bought after the gorgeous Cordoba 23S soprano ukelele and it is well-thumbed now. Highly recommended and great value at £3.99.

Very Small: 85 x 30 mm x 70 cards, printed on both sides
It appears that pretty much all the Ukulele chords are contained in this little booklet thingy of small cards joined together with a small bolt in one corner so that all the cards rotate. The front side has cords C to Fsus4, and the other side has chords F# to Bsus4. It's a handy size though could be a bit fiddly if you wanted to find a chord quickly. If I'd made a note of the size of this item I might have thought twice about itCould be handy to keep in the gig bag if nothing else, and very good value for £$.p.

Don't expect too much
Shouldn't expect too much, I suppose. It covers a lot of chords, but only gives one fingering for any chord, while many chords have alternative fingerings. Cases in point are E minor (which can be played only 3 fingers instead of 4) and B7 which can be played easily with 3 fingers, instead of the rather awkward barre chord shown. Granted, the chords shown have the advantage that that fingering can be used in different positions on the fretboard to produce other chords, but it would be helpful to have alternative fingerings, especially in such cases. Surely that's half the point of having a reference?

notecracker ukulele chords
Notecracker Ukulele Chords Uke Cards (Notecrackers) This is a cool collection of chords but I cannot help wondering why there are no 'G' chords in the group? I find this really unusual.Maybe someone out there has the answer for this but upto now I am at a complete loss.I am a new player but have played the guitar for many years and the Ukulele is a joy therefore this is a mystery to me and I resort to using Youtube as a source of information.

Brilliant for the novice
Its hard trying to grasp everything that's new, especially all the cords for playing different tunes. If your like me and don't want to keep asking where you fingers go then these cards are just what you need. I am a beginner and don't mind saying that I am 50+. The old brain cells don't work as well or as quickly as they used to do, that's why when l saw these cord cards l just had to have them. The only down side is that they could do with being a little larger for those individuals who have poor eye sight like me, otherwise they are brilliant.AJ.
