Gator Rigid Rigid EPS Foam Lightweight Case for Bass Guitars

Quality completely as expected. I especially needed a lighter case following my cancer operation. Such a clever design at a good price. Yamaha NCX1 fits perfectly. Sturdy feeling zips.

This case is very sturdy, I would trust it to protect my guitar more than a hard case due to the foam padding. The foam is very rigid, encloses the guitar on all sides and would definitely provide protection to the guitar in the event of a drop. The interior also has a fur maternal inside which is nice. It fits my strat perfectly, aside from the fact you cannot store the guitar with a strap on sadly as there is very little clearance (which is still good as the guitar can't wobble around inside).There is also a handy mesh pocket on the front which I use to store my whammy bar and an instrument cable. Overall miles better than a soft case and possibly even hard cases!

The Gator Mandolin case is far superior to any other I have come across. Full marks for quality and suitability for purpose. I have a F Style Epiphone Mandolin MM50E (the fancy one with scrolls and ornate headstock) which this fits perfectly, I believe that it will also fit the simpler A Style (teardrop) shape as well. It is tough, durable, lightweight, well padded and shaped with plenty of useful storage, secure zip, velcro flap, handle and shoulder straps. Best buy in my opinion.

Love the case - quality throughout, strong and protective and lightweight. Ideal for transport and storage. Recommended. Why 4* - well my guitar is a fairly standard 12 string jumbo - LAG and it barely fits. Certainly my much older tenor 12 string won't. So it's worth carefully measuring up beforehand.

Amazing quality, this gives me the reassurance that my instrument is well protected when travelling. I got this in the sale on Amazon and it was a complete bargain, I would have been happy to pay the full price, as it is really something you would put an expensive banjo in it. It's light in weight and looks very nice, the pockets are useful and the inside lining is padded very well. Im so glad I got this instead of my soft case I previously had.

This is a great bass guitar case if you are looking for a lightweight, compact and sufficient way to transport your instrument. The internal pre moulded lining was a perfect fit for my Fender Precision Bass, so you don't have to worry about your beloved instrument moving around, and also with the separated little compartments inside the case, when you can store pedals, cables or whatever are also held in place well. The extra external pockets and a great bonus too.Really happy with the product.

Appalling design and build quality.the rivets and screws attaching the black canvas to the interior wall of the case all came apart,making this case unusable.i could not return it for a refund as I had disposed of the packaging it arrived in.we had no option other than to take it to our local tip for disposal.very unhappy with this guitar case which I would not recommend at all.

I bought this case to house a new Spector ReBop 5-string bass. For about twice the price of this Gator case I could have bought a purpose-made Spector case, but this had the brand name on the outside and from a security viewpoint I prefer not to advertise what make of bass is inside a case, as this can attract unwanted attention at gigs etc.The Spector ReBop 5-string has a 35” scale that fits this case no problem. It also has a curved body that means the overall body thickness is too much for some cases. Whilst the body thickness did not fit the Gator case straight away; the foam in the bottom of the case can be compressed where needed, so I carefully used my knee to create some indentations to allow the curved body to sit lower in the case. The bass now fits snugly and the extra indentations I have made help stop it from moving around inside the case when it is closed.This is the first one of these cases I have bought, but the build quality looks to be first-rate so I’d have no hesitation in ordering another of these for any of my other basses.

I went back and forth between a Gibson hard case or a gig bag, researching all the options (not a lot of case options that form fit for SG style guitars). I found this Gator bag/case at a good price and had a similar style case for my Flying V, which I liked, and was at a good price here on Amazon. I was going to pull the trigger on a Gibson Protector case but decided to give this one a try first and I’m glad I did. This case is solid like a hard case would be but operates like a gig bag (including shoulder straps). The case is well built, very solid (no flex) and very light. Hesitate not..you won’t regret this purchase.

This is a perfect fit for my Taylor 316 CE baritone guitar. It’s very well designed for protection, due to the rigidity of the polyfoam inside, and yet very lightweight! Far superior to a case I ordered and subsequently returned, since it had padding inside, but no rigidity, and thus, lackluster protection.

Veramente una bella custodia, solida ma leggera, perfetta per le mie necessità. Entrano benissimo sia il Jazz che il Precision, ottimo vano interno per tracolla, cavi e accessori più tasca esterna perfetta per spartiti. Consigliata!

As so many others have commented, this is an excellent case. It is light, durable and will fill the role of both a gig bag and a hard case. There is ample room for most knick knacks a musician might need: tuner, humidifier, monitor, strings, music, etc. I play an A style mandolin and it fits mine snugly. (Gator says the pack is made for both F and A style, and it is true.)The one small critique I would make is it is a little shallow. I have a Kentucky 272 and there is a fair bit of convexing in the sound body. The case is a little snugger vertically than I would like. But still quite functional. I'd like to see Gator give maybe a quarter inch more play vertically.Still, awesome case and very happy with it.

gibsonのj-200の入るギグバッグが無かったので助かりました。内容はセミハード的なもので非常にしっかりして、その上軽いです。ハードの代わりにこれで機内預けもいけるかな？くらいのしっかり感です。内側はボア仕様で安心です。肩で背負うベルトの結合部分が少し身体と干渉することと生地自体が少し薄いところでマイナス１です。
