KitchenCraft Wooden Toaster Tongs, 25 cm (10"), Beechwood

Saves burning your fingers on toast or the hot toaster surfaces. Glad I bought this.

Just washed ready to try out tomorrow will leave a report later do look good Toaster wooden Tongs .Today Monday 10th July Washed kitchen craft tongs took them out bowl of warm mild copy water givendip took out of water held tongs gentle it was fine next fell apart so no use whatsoever .Looks like a bit ofto join at the top and weight I wondered what had fallen in the sink it was clink .If this had not happen Iwondered if it would of pick up the toast because of the width quite wide piece of thin wood so I give it 1starfor trying take of the three stars above look like good smooth not rough wood .I would not even attempt to buyanother one of these so I claim quite expensive for thin wooden item disappointed I didn't get to use them

How did we cope with making toast before the existence of these? My pieces of bread are always getting stuck in the toaster, or simply not springing up high enough to be grabbed. These excellent tongs do the trick.

Neat and magnetic just for fun. No risk of using a knife in the toaster ever again! These won't pick up doorstop thickness toast single-handedly since they are not fully opened wide like some makes that are usually 2 pieces of wood.I enjoy that the magnet lets me hang them on the side of the toaster or anywhere, and that they are nice and slim so never end up jamming in kitchen drawers.

We have home made bread and the slices are small enough not to poke out the top of the toaster when popped up so these are brilliant. And relatively safe - safer than a metal knife for sure!! Also good for crumpets, toasted buns etc. The magnet would be useful if we had anything to attach it to, which is a bit of a nuisance because the knives stick to the magnet in the drawer but hey ho! not a big problem.

Had to buy as my new roaster will not eject the bread they are good as they have a built-in magnet to keep them attached to the toaster

Wow! This nifty wooden instrument has changed my life. No longer do red blisters form on my finger tips as I pick out my toast. No longer do I get a buzz as I hook out my toasted bagles with a metal fork. This product is revolutionary. On top of this there is also a small magnet so they can be attached to the fridge, so no longer do I need to search the drawers for the most essential kitchen utensil.

A nice little gadget, magnet is strong enough to keep it on the fridge.The only downside is that you have to hold it half way if you want to get a toast out.
