Good PSU that doesn't run too hot. If you are using it with a multiblock withe two lines of sockets on the same surface you should bear in mind that the bulk of the PSU is "above" the earth pin and thus it may block access to another opposite socket. For a single-row multiblock or a "power tower" this isn't a problem. It gets 5* because it is still working, and basically a PSU either works or it doesn't!The need to bear in mind the shape of the PSU is less of a problem than having a power brick halfway along a cable so, at least to me, this is a better arrangement, thus 5*.

As good as the tascam 08 is it should but doesn't come with a mains adapterThere is a tascam separate adapter available but it is very expensiveThis product is inexpensive and does the job very well . It comes with everything you need to just plug in and off you go!A very good quality product

This power adaptor is sooo much cheaper than the others they recommend for the Tascam recorder and I was sceptical about buying it, but it's great. It does exactly what it's supposed to and doesn't even get warm, unlike some power transformers. It was sent promptly and arrived in good condition. Thanks Digidave.

Works perfectly with the Tascam DP-008 ex. It's great not to be recharging batteries all night anymore. Conventional British plug, the other end has a little adapter on it to make it the right size for the Tascam. The cable is fairly short - roughly a metre and a half long I would estimate. Once it's in place you won't think about it again though.

This item was a perfect fit for my Tascam DP008 Portable Recorder and will save me hundreds of pounds in batteries! The item was delivered extremely promptly and the communications from the seller were really first class. All in all, a very satisfactory experience.

This is an inexpensive product that removes the need to purchase the overly expensive Tascam option. Arrived as described and does the job perfectly. Product and seller highly recommended.

This "replacement" power supply works fine and is much cheaper than the official Tascam product. My only criticism is that the cable is a little too short at around 5 feet long.
